They were mostly semi-recognizeable people from sitcoms. The English guy from Hogan's Heroes! The mean lady from Mary Tyler Moore! Brett Somers was less recognizeable, though. I don't ever recall seeing her in other things. I think she was on there mostly because she was Jack Klugman's wife.

It wasn't at the time, though. Casting a big-name Oscar winner as a comic book villain was pretty outside the box back then.
