Hey I was at the renn faire on Sunday (the same one pictured). We did a pub crawl which was a lot of fun, glad I live close enough to go a couple times a year. One of these days I’ll work up the motivation to actually wear a costume there...

Right, they basically decided to give her anime eyes in the live action but left everyone else normal. I guess they’re trying to go for a doll-like look but like you said in the source material she just looks like a person. 

I was thinking that sounds more like Dwight personally.

They do exist in the US, I had one yesterday from 3 Floyd’s (which is in Indiana). I’ve seen a few other ones but it’s not as widespread here. 

I hear ya man, I enjoy drinking stouts/porters and other darker heavier stuff in the summer and it can be a pain to find them. 

Ahead of them how? I generally drink non IPA’s and they’re not too hard to find, but there’s no denying that IPA’s are everywhere and selling really well.

This, I got an Old Rasputin (imperial stout) at a bar once around here and it was ice cold, I couldn’t taste anything from it. I was letting it warm up and the server came over and asked me if I didn’t like it, took like 15 minutes for it to get up to a decent temp.

I see barleywines on tap pretty regularly around here but they’re always a 10-12oz pour when I see them. 

I was there on Saturday, it was a fantastic show as well. It was the first time I’ve seen them live and it was great, I agree their newer songs sounded a lot better live. 

How far into 3 do the spoilers start? I started reading through the books and I’m right before you leave to go to Skellige in the 3rd game, so I’m guessing there’s still some big stuff left to reveal. 

Meh I’m still playing through 3 and honestly it feels just as janky as 1 but a lot prettier. Messed up animations and weird stuff happening during cutscenes and such all still seem to be there, it just looks a lot nicer. 

For real, Witcher 1's action felt more at home in a RPG to me, I really dislike that every game seems to try to be more actiony nowadays.

I got both of these games on Xbox (I think shadows of synaria or something like that is the other one?) Both tons of fun, sticks to snakes is pretty OP if you save up a bunch of charges.

Start up a MIRC server or something maybe?

I’m pretty far in Witcher 3 but when I load up the game I look at the list of sidequests and such to do and get kind of overwhelmed and quit. I feel a need to finish the sidequests before…
