I’ve never seen the inside of an ELR in person but I’ve heard the interior was actually far ahead of the rest of the Cadillac lineup in terms of luxury and especially material quality at the time.

My wife says the same thing. I’m trying to convince her that it is the most adult looking of the hot hatches.
The first gen MPV was BOF, RWD or RWD based 4WD and had no sliding doors. I would argue it was much more SUV than minivan.
Tom, you usually do such a good job understanding the true needs of the customer and suggesting the car that will function best for the primary use yet still has the capability for the secondary use. Today you did the opposite. The transit connect will be wonderful for transporting bikes and paintings but will be…
This was my answer as well. This seems like the perfect car to meet the needs of 90% of people yet hardly anyone thinks of it. It’s perfect for this guy but I had to scroll this far down in the comments to find it suggested.
It seems like someone always finds a way to recommend a Baja for these.
Another similar option is the Kia Niro. Up to 49 combined MPG depending on options. These seem like such a boring vehicle on paper but for some reason I am intrigued by them. I feel like it’s the perfect option for 90% of the population’s needs.
I’ve heard the designers of the FC RX7 even admit they ripped off the 944
If you use high quality straps and take the time and care to strap the boards down properly this will never happen.
I could see that but I never do more than 3 high. Six boards is the most I’ll do in two stacks of 3 side by side.
I’ve been strapping surfboards to the top of cars my whole life and have always put fins up and back. I learned this from my dad who has been doing it this way his whole life. Never have either of us had an issue.

The design of these four spoke steering wheels was primarily driven by the packaging requirements of early airbags, but I agree that they were ergonomically pretty nice for casual driving and had a certain visual charm (that may just be the nostalgia though).
That’s only due to Jeremy Clarkson overloading the suspension.
I know right? that was the only thing I took from this article. The wording of that sentence makes it seem like he’s trying to say that nearly one out of three 5 series sold worldwide goes to South Korea. I find it hard to believe but maybe it was poor wording or maybe Torch is messing with us.
Honestly I’m somewhat surprised British royalty is allowed to drive at all.
Well I guess you all have a new place to go discuss your opinions on this now. https://jalopnik.com/yellow-air-dam-shipping-covers-are-some-of-the-hottest-1827977830
It’s even more ridiculous that there is enough demand for these to create a secondary market on eBay. These were designed to be thrown away. This is like someone selling the molded Styrofoam packaging that came in their new TV box on eBay.
I don’t know, to me it seemed like what he was really trying to say was “We don’t really want to offer manuals and we only have the the vaguest understanding of why you might prefer one, but since you keep buying them I guess it makes financial sense for us to keep selling them.”
