My Baja was a 2003 model year that I know wasn’t purchased by the original owner until towards the end of 2004. It probably also didn’t help that it was yellow and a manual.

Why did I have to go this far into the comments to find mention of the X-90?

Same reason I voted CP. No one is buying a 10 year old Lexus to be driven around in and for the same price you could get a newer standard wheel base LS with much better tech for the driver. Also as others have noted the performance and fuel economy benefits of the 600h are negligible.

This was my first thought too but I wasn’t sure I was ready to admit it until someone else did it first

I had a friend in high school who rolled a first gen expedition driving too fast on a dirt road. After watching this I have no idea how he walked away.

The correct answer is

Nope, still wrong. The number of exhaust tips should be a divisor of the number of cylinders IMHO.

Brazil has be doing this sort of thing for a while.

I had a yellow and silver Baja in college (with a manual) and you’d be surprised to learn it didn’t always stand out. I came back to my car after class one day to find this in the parking lot.

Wow Toyota really stepped up on that one. My 1987 Tercel only had a 3 speed.

It’s crazy that in the 90's Mazda built what is basically an SUV but had to disguise it as a minivan so it would sell. Now every car company does the reverse.

As a former Baja owner an outback is a better choice unless you need to transport very tall items with a relatively small footprint. A Baja may just be the perfect vehicle if you regularly need to transport a single refrigerator.

Not as reliable as you’d hope should be the tagline for Subaru’s of this vintage. I still loved my ‘03 manual though.

I don’t know if it sways your opinion but the Alfa was fixed and brought back to Hoonigan where the Hoonigan guys made them an oil pan skid plate as an apology.

You sound like a good guy. I’m 6'6" and my knees are already touching the seat in front of me before it’s reclined. I never recline my seat on an airplane out of hope for some good karma but I also never complain when the person in front of me does because it’s their right to do so. (I’m still pissed about it, just

Really? The clutch in my 03 baja, which is mechanically the same car, had to be done at 80k. Although I was not the first owner and have no idea how it may have previously been driven.

Not the most bullshit reason I’ve been pulled over but what happened afterwards was the most bullshit outcome from being pulled over.

Something along these lines happened to me. I was driving back from the Palm Springs area at about 10 pm on the 10. This is the area where all the windmills are for those who are familiar. Anyway I come up behind a truck pulling a fifth wheel camper trailer going slowly so I put on my blinker to move into the lane to
