I really enjoy the counterintuitiveness of a manual in a full size luxury sedan and I find the E38 7 series to be a very handsome car but I get the impression that corners were cut in this build and I have to give it a reluctant Crack Pipe.

Before I got into the article I was ready for an instant CP based on the price for the vehicle in question. After realizing that this is the nicest 1980 Scirocco in the world that’s not so nice you would feel guilty driving it I decided NP for a buyer who is a big fan of these cars.

Totally saw it and was ready to write a comment about it

That thing is amazing! I didn’t know it existed until just now and yet I want it so bad.

Why did I have to scroll through so may wrong answers to get to the right one?

I find it hilarious how many people were willing to look past the much worse rust in yesterday’s Toyota but are freaking out over the likely repairable rust on this.

was gonna post this if no one else did

I absolutely love these trucks but anything in that condition is pretty much only good as a ranch/farm truck and you could get something much nicer to do that job at this price which is why I voted CP.

Mine was the exact car only with a manual transmission and cloth seats but it had just about the same mileage when I bought it in 2012. I paid $10k for it then and sold it earlier this year for $3k.

This is the kind of thinking this world could use more of.

That first picture got me thinking that it would be amazing if Ferrari were to make a subcompact sized car with a mid mounted turbo four.

Every time I see one of the minivan conversions the only thing I can notice is how much space is between the top of the tire and the wheel arch. I’ve always wondered what is the reason for such an extreme body lift. Can anyone enlighten me?

I know there was a commercial that did exactly this! (maybe you did too and the joke went right over my head) but I can’t remember what car it was for and can’t find the commercial on youtube.

Is no one else wondering how an 18 year old kid with a baby can afford a newish lifted F-150? That was honestly my biggest question after reading. Everything else can be explained because Florida

My dad had one of these before I was born. The only thing I’ve ever heard about his was that he got rid of it because of something about a tendency to decapitate the driver in a crash yet a quick google search turns up nothing on the subject.

Who else went to the website and saw the other cars these guys will turn into a convertible for you? most of them make this F-150 conversion seem mild (a convertible Model S or NSX!?!). That said I live only minutes from where this shop supposedly is and cant recall ever seeing any of these crazy conversions driving

As far as I can tell from the grainy footage that looks like a really cool looking little car.

My first car was an ‘87 Tercel 2-door hatch. so I have a weird affection for that body style. I never knew the GP Turbo existed (I’m sure never sold in the US) but that thing is Awesome!

I always wondered what was going on with those GM trucks with flared out rear fenders. they always looked like they started to grow dually fenders but never quite made it all the way.
