oh jeez. As long as they don’t tie PC bug fix patches to the PS version. Consoles take forever to release a patch because of certification.

The worst part about this is that it was almost certainly thought up by a team of half a dozen marketers who get paid $100,000+ annually to think up idiotic crap like this, while actually useful contributors to society like teachers live on starvation wages.

Shattered Memories is an acceptable game, but I maintain that it’s not a good Silent Hill game; as in, its lacking in the areas that make Silent Hill what it is and not some other horror game. I don’t think mainline game or not is the point here. The issue is also extended to Ascension, another project they chose to put forward first, and how these things reflect on the series as a whole and public perception of them.

Because it’s been years since they did anything with Silent Hill. And that was a long string of bad games where outside developers wanted to make a horror game and pitched it to Konami as a Silent Hill game to get funding.
