Higher quality textures paired with a reliance on native 4K video-based cutscenes has pretty much destroyed that offset. 

As a Lego-Person, I see nothing wrong with this.

Lance McDonald made a framerate mod for the Ps5. Sony and Fromsoft could probably polish a remaster up in less than a fiscal quarter. That is what stings the most, this guy whipped up a mod in his spare time that just works. Requires a jailbroken Ps5 though.

Well I was already out of college during that era, so don’t feel too bad.

Think that’s where their heads were at when this novelty project began. But their lawyers would never greenlight putting an interactive game into a potentially-limb-severing, hand-held-machine.

Personally just looking for a framerate patch. There’s no doubt that Bluepoint would do a decent job, but it’s held up amazingly well. I’m afraid they’d sterilize it somehow. Playing the Demons Souls remake felt hollow to me. It was polished to the point of losing some of it’s character. 

How it got into the hands of the people who love it now is completely irrelevant to the current conversation.

There is a mod for Ps5 to have it play at 60fps with no issues. After seeing this, I can’t go back. 

Thought that might be the case for me as well, but seems not. Oh well. 

See there’s the rub. Not interested enough to buy and never play them, but for for free? Yeah I’d claim them.
