I get that, the investment is already there. But it doesn’t invalidate the fact that CDPR tries to polish things. Though I’ll admit that I’m speaking from a point of patient privilege, since I rarely buy titles in the first year or two of release.

Wouldn’t know. I’ve only played a bit of Witcher 2 and 3. But when they were both installed it seemed like patches came down the pipeline constantly.

So there’s no workarounds for the missions that aren’t working? Or is the only way to fix it starting a new game? Hate to admit I relish troubleshooting issues like

Have no reason to refute what you said. Seems solid. I’m not invested in Starfield, and by extension whether a creator is paid or not for mod work on said game. So kudos to them for getting paid for their efforts.

It wouldn’t be a CDPR game if it wasn’t a buggy mess that never gets fixed.

For sure, I need to hit up my friend with a 3D printer to make me some generic stands. Failing that I typically use poster tacky under the feet to get them to stay upright.

Tiles don’t come with a EULA.

For sure. I’d try to block that person if it’s an option.

I’m cheap, I mostly stick to NECA figures, and I’ve been pretty pleased with the results. My most recent purchase was this guy for 30 bucks:

Damage scaling makes this kind of useless, albeit a fun spectacle. I’ve seen some optimized combos take off more for a 1/3 of the hits.

Naw I’m good.

Naw I’m good.

Well if you save for a few years and then take the occasional 6 month sabbatical between jobs, it can be relatively stress free. Anecdotally speaking of course. I’ve taken upwards of 9 months off from jobs and either gone back, or did something else. And yes I have a mortgage, but no kids.

Poked around the website to see what they had, and none of it seems as high quality as the prices would suggest. Feel bad for the buyers that now have to fight to get their refunds. Probably have to file a claim with their banks/creditors.

Going to throw my hat in the ring with MediEvil for Ps1/4. The original holds up quite well, and the remake is pretty faithful. It’s my favorite game to play in the fall.

Well that’s pretty neat.

If you’re a legal expert then I’m willing to take your assertions as fact.

Also from a comment below:

Kind of assumed it was the ghost of an ad, since I’m using Ublock.

Edit: Pretty sure it is, but hard to tell in all the chaos of this site without an adblocker on. Wow it’s bad!

This is an important question.

Not sure of the legal ramifications of having a paid mod, but they’re technically profiting off of someone else’s product. Guess they could spin it as a “tip” like most well known modders do. Though they don’t put access behind a paypall from the start.

If anything the MS deal woke someone up at Activision to push this Steam release, since MS puts stuff on Steam as well as their own store.

The whole “texting minors thing” was never part of the original legal action against him. It came to light in the face of the allegations of domestic abuse. He’s never addressed it, which makes me assume he’s not exactly innocent of doing creepy shit.
