What if I am? With all the money saved not buying day one I certainly could.
According to the market. Most newer games are around 40 bucks within 12 months of release on PC. Everything I bought off that list I bought brand new sealed or gently used around 30-40 bucks approximately a year or so after they came out. Only exceptions were GOW:RAG and H:FB.
I mean... they’re right.
Same. I got new about the change but having played the Remastered version first, it’d be weird to go back. Though I agree the 2nd face rig does look a bit young.
All other things aside with how unimpressive this already is, but why is MGS2 running at 30 on the Switch ever? It was 60 FPS on the Playstation 2, there’s no reason the handheld Switch version should be operating at 30, let alone the docked mode.
FucKonami!
I’ve played through the first 3 MGS games on original hardware, I want the weirdness that comes with too much clarity. I want the chunks. I want it sharp for my old eyes. I want modern AA at 4K! Hell toss it into an AI thingamajig and upscale it!
This is the time of year when I start a game of Bloodborne. Whether I finish it or not depends on what fall activities I can pulled into by my S.O., some of which I even like.
I’d say jump in when it’s on sale. Waiting for a Deck 2 might end up being like my wait for the 2nd generation of the Switch. I.E. taking forever.
Plausible, since EA never really polished up Dead Space on PC either.
What a strange way to do business.
It does run fantastic. And I’ll second your sentiment of why can’t AAA games at least get that part right? They have gobs of budget but can’t make the damned things run well. Can’t even point to the consoles being the first versions made, because those don’t run great either, see also: Jedi Survivor.
He was onto something there. The Red Queen was running the laser show, and it was a vindictive AI to say the least.
Just strikes me as a more subdued take on Ada.
Think she did pretty well in this scene:
I assume they’re just trolling you.
Ooof. It looks pared back to the point of being broken. What a shame.
Word. Wasn’t expecting it to blow my socks off, but that’s a ringing endorsement of “play it on sale” if ever I’ve heard it.
Good lookin’ out.
(El)on (Mu)sk. It’s a thing, I guess. Personally I’ve taken to calling him Tony Shart.
I wrote “Always vote with your wallet.” Whether that’s initial investments, microtransactions, or anything else. If you think the game is predatory or just plain bad, stop playing and don’t buy whatever it’s selling.
Looking forward to checking this out on Gamepass.
Fair enough. I was pretty harsh on it immediately after articles reported it running like crap on PC, still haven’t and probably never will, buy it. So I’m more upset with EA regarding the information I’ve learned since my initial impressions of it. Love to know what the grift is here with them repeatedly sending…
