That sounds like a legit reality show spoof I would love to see.

Well, John Diggle is the best incarnation of Alfred I've ever seen on screen. Seriously, season two he's all cool v-necks and leather jackets; season three he's wearing polos and slacks.

Devil's advocate: Injecting an experimental serum into Ray wasn't necessarily a medical experiment. At best it's chewing ginseng to help memory loss; not FDA approved but also not on the FDA's list of things it cares about.

Okay. I'm going to get slapped around for this, but … I like LOK more than TLA. I think if you watch them from the perspective of the central character's development over the series of books, Korra's story is more compelling and, in some ways, relevant than Aang's.

That probably explains why I like this show so much and it feels so familiar. I grew up on wuxia. Every Saturday morning at 10 a local TV station would screen old wuxia films, and this feels like one of those with better production value. Thanks! I feel better about being one of the few people who genuinely like this

The next episode should totally start with a Ray Palmer voice-over and an "Atom" title card. Like that time Wayne Brady took over the Chappelle Show.

I think Felicity represents what Oliver thinks of as a "normal relationship", which can only last but so long. I liked the brother/sister dynamic way better. It feels more natural. Hopefully when we come back, Felicity and Ray are further down the road with their relationship.

Okay. This is spot on. Here's what we're missing. Arrow is the Batman of the DCTV universe (Flash is Superman, but that's another thing altogether; that crossover should have been titled "World's Finest" or GTFO). That means Ra's will be his big bad for a long time. Which also means Ra's needs a reason to respect him

They always time skip, so we can come back to the characters after they've had off screen developments.

Empty (your bowels), and (make) wind.

I actually got the feeling that it was the "hidden" moral of the episode. I had this very frank conversation with my mother, when she asked why I don't spank my daughters. I flat out had to tell her that early on, when I got frustrated with my girls, my first reaction was to want to go all Pops ("an ass is an ass is

I think you're right. It's why the references actually work on a show like this.

My two best friends growing up (who are white) got spanked more than me. I even witnessed one. It was horrifying. I reminded him about it while giving a speech at his 30th birthday a couple years back. Ahhhh … good times.

My dad used to talk to me about what I did and it's ramifications before he spanked me. After 45 minutes of talking (literally), I was begging for a spanking. Then he'd only do one whack across my butt. I could tell all the talk was just so he could build up the nerve and save face in front of my mom. He hated it,

Black don't crack. I'm pretty sure Laurence Fishburne is like 93 or 94. He was in his late 70s during the Matrix.

I thought the same thing. Amon took her power, Unalaq broke her spirit, and Zaheer left his mark inside her. Jesus. I almost broke into tears thinking about all that; probably because Korra reminds me of my oldest daughter. It's amazing that I feel so connected to a show like this.

the Libertine, starring Johnny "my nose is falling off from the syphilis" Depp … with my mother-in-law, who had only just then begun to like me

I think the bigger Tenzin call out is the fact that Korra is mentoring him in some ways this season, which is pretty cool all around. When Tenzin is finally fully developed at the end of S4, it will feel earned. So I can dig it.

Oh you sneaky bastard. I hadn't even thought of that but makes perfect sense!
