Public sector workers already have more protections than private sector through civil service laws. Reform the civil service laws if you think they don’t go far enough. Public sector unions are all about electing the friendliest officials who are in charge of them, and pay them the most, making it a gross circle jerk

Who changes lanes while trailering? Enter freeway, bully across to the left lane, sleep, tailgate, sleep, cut across to the exit lane at the last moment, exit.

A bunch of their EVs keep spontaneously catching fire and they can’t seem to figure out how to stop it, so maybe it’s ok to not give GM’s engineers too much credit.

They have a lot of investors but remain independent. Adam referring to it as “Amazon-owned” is a paints an inaccurate picture. “Amazon-backed” makes more sense.

1st: “In the first half we sold more than we produced because we could lower our inventory, but you can only do that once,” Samuelsson told ANE.

So, you can trailer hands free as long as you don’t change lanes.

Maybe Lordstown?

Sure, the charging infrastructure will come. But chargers don’t “make” electricity. They just give you a way to access what has already been produced by powerplants, many of which are still based on coal. And an ancient electrical grid that goes down when too many people cool their homes at the same time.

That’s great. It’s also cloudy and cool where I live today, so global warming doesn’t exist! See, isn’t using a single personal anecdote so much more fun than looking at actual data?

And the loud exhaust, pointing mostly behind them doesn’t help at all.

I think the best option for Harley to get into that space would just be to straight up buy a smaller company. They have no experience in that arena and no real reputation, and would have to establish a new brand anyway to get taken seriously. Get someone else with existing expertise instead.

It might make more money per unit but nobody can really say if it will make more money. Anybody who ever once looked at the phrase “business school” should want to make $1 profit on 10,000 units instead of $50 profit on 100 units.

If we were fairly certain that the virus spreading in the unvaccinated population wouldn’t mutate into something worse, most likely wouldn’t care.  But the longer the spread continues, the probability that happens is higher.  That’s why people give a shit about the unvaccinated population.

You’re bad at science. Eat a bowl of dicks.

1st: Assholes being assholes. Coming back from lunch yesterday, I saw five people run stop signs/red lights. That’s within two miles. That’s not counting the number of people who had to swerve back into their lane because they were fucking around on their phones.

But the real question is...how fast can it get on the back of a flatbed?

it’s the fact that unemployment is up and salaries/pay are down compared with pre-COVID, yet prices keep rising.

Working from home. If business are smart they’ll take a long hard look at maximizing the potential cost savings there.

I don’t think the stimulus packages are causing the used car market frenzy. I do think the vast amount of money dilution from the Fed, and it should be noted that the stimulus packages are only a small part of that, are contributing to the price rise because of inflation.

It’s not the prices, or supply, that are really interesting....it’s the fact that unemployment is up and salaries/pay are down compared with pre-COVID, yet prices keep rising.
