I’ve never hired a prostitute or even gone to a strip club, but I get it - people have needs. So when I read, as a casual aside in an article about streaming, that people offer virtual friendship and emotional connection for money through these avenues, it just makes me really sad. Seems like it’s too little far too late though given that analysts are already marking down Activision’s performance for the year simply because Bungie has managed to fuck the golden goose that was Destiny 2 (https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/23/activisions-destiny-2-is-struggling-right-now-cowen-analyst.html).

They’ve referred to “touch interface” considerations before, so they’re definitely aiming for at least an iPad release. That’s probably quite a long time away.
