Rogue One went down better because it was obviously made by people who loved star wars. being a star wars fan is REWARDED by watching Rogue One. When you hear them mention the whills, when they mention Kyberr Crystals. When they show republic ships using the same design as they did in KOTOR. When they show the Y wing

I’ve never hired a prostitute or even gone to a strip club, but I get it - people have needs. So when I read, as a casual aside in an article about streaming, that people offer virtual friendship and emotional connection for money through these avenues, it just makes me really sad. They’re only filling a need.

I just never really got why it’s more fun to watch people play games than to play them yourself. Like....I enjoy the random clip here and there of an awesome play/move or whatever and I would look up walkthroughs on youtube for things I was stuck on but to just sit and watch another person play a game and crack

Its really even more pathetic than that. They’re selling their attention to dudes who can’t get women to talk to them any other way.

Maybe this just makes me old (I am 35) but Twitch just sounds like a dystopian hellhole I want no part of. Even the most gentle thing in this article - the idea of selling a “friendship experience” - sounds like a Black Mirror episode.

Halle-fucking-lujah. Buffalo, baboon, cabbage, etc. What the ever loving fuck?

Hahahaha you make it sound like Destiny 2 fucked your mom, slapped you in the face then said peace out. It’s a game man. Move on

Holy shit I’m tired of spawning into strikes with no enemies and have to wait around for a couple minutes for them to spawn, especially since you can’t trigger anything until you defeat the first group.

PvP is broken atit’s core so I can’t see them spending the money at this point. Maybe in D3.

They want to fix Destiny 2 and make it better? Put all the Destiny 1 content back in since this should have just been an expansion anyways. Then, allow groups to alpha or beta test new content updates instead of just throwing them in to experiment with only to find out everyone hates them. What’s the point of putting

They’ve referred to “touch interface” considerations before, so they’re definitely aiming for at least an iPad release. That’s probably quite a long time away.

ios has one

My iPad was my Duels machine. I’ll only play this if it makes it to iPad and/or Android.

Time is a flat circle.

Oh, did I say time? I meant the Mercury map for Curse of Osiris. It’s just a flat, uninteresting, small circle.

Destiny 2: The Endless Quest to Polish this Turd

Destiny is like if Peter Molyneux made the original Halo trilogy.

Nice to hear of the changes, but man—I’ve lost all will to play anymore. A case of too little too late maybe?

Why just today:

Yeah, the game is just incredible. If there’s any game I could erase my memory to play again for the first time, it’d be Dark Souls. Between the atmosphere, the combat itself, the way the world is so interconnected, the secrets (return to the asylum, Painted World, etc), the game was just like nothing I’ve ever
