Shout out to Nietzsche!

@Claytons: Oh yes, I almost forgot my point: HFCS vs. Sugar rates at about a "meh" on my moral radar.

@SEDAGIVE?!: I swim a very intesnse workout 5 times a week, do quite a bit of hiking, and ride my bike 6-10 miles a day. Also, I am a member of Amnesty International and donate to several charities.

@ElijahDProphet: "People who could afford it." That's half the problem, today. HFCS is such a ubiquitous cheap sweetener that many people cannot afford to avoid it.

@Courteous_Gentleman: You're both right, of course (at least according to current research) but there's no doubt a history of missing-the-point in this debate. It seems that many myths re: HFCS popped up after the substance was maligned for very real and problematic social and evironmental concerns related to its use,

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.2: Yes, a great compliment to the food processor, as well. They take an entire mess, time-consuming and tedious step out of many bisques.

@dislexicmofo: @Snarktopus: Every range I've ever owned/rented had 1 240V connector. Maybe more modern ranges do not use the 240v connector?

Bottle-shock, anyone?

@LCL: Have you spent any time in the Willamette Valley? Very late-starting growing season. They struggle to get the brix to reasonable levels, and each and every vinyard is worried each year about spoiling the whole crop trying to get the brix to the an appropriate minimum level. CA Pinot Noir's are the grapes that

Late-starting summer with more cloud cover than usual, and fairly cool temperatures throughout mean a horrible year for willamette grapes. Fortunately, most of the wineries in the valley also import grapes from the Rogue Valley and other part of Southern OR.

@rjp is protected: Would there be any performance benefit to this system where the photography is concerned? I ask because one can buy much nicer trekking poles as a pair for the same price or cheaper than this single pole, then simply do the fantastic mod featured in the post.

Extra-large golf umbrellas not only clear the urban sidewalk of unwanted people, especially when swung carelessly about, they also have long handles ripe for customizing.

I wish I had a dumber phone, and that's saying something considering I presently have the dumbest phone I could find when I signed up for the service.

@DrGonzho: Alton cares about more than just unitask/multitask. He is all about gimmick-free ergonomics, and products that are durable and easy to clean. This design fails in all regards. I stand by the rage-seizure.

This would give Alton Brown rage-seizures.

Clumsy, dorky and impractical!

@HackBerry: 1) I'm thinking you need a more comprehensive definition for "data"

@HackBerry: 1) it's not the data that's the problem, and 2) you have no reason to believe I am "pretending there are not differences within/between racial preferences".

@HackBerry: Sure, but not all types of honest, tongue-in-cheek looks at reality have the same value or are without moral fault. I wouldn't say that this post or the data within it is by any means racist, but one can certainly see the influence of racism in the tone and some of the ideas. To many people subjected to a

@HackBerry: It's methodical, but hardly scientific and makes very little attempt to shrug off stereotypes and prejudices. Hence, people will call it racist. At the very least it's uneccessary.
