So what happend when you drop a glass encased phone?

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Bike nerds (google "Sheldon Brown") people who work riding bikes for a living have been riding them for a long time - long before any hipster learned to track stand on the sidewalk at a crosswalk.

@ps61318: If you commute or ride a lot in a city with lots of traffic and frequent stops or slowdowns, the low-speed control and maneuvarability afforded by a fixed gears gives tremendous advantage and convenience over freewheels. And this is from someone who uses any excuse to get out of his fixed gear and into a

This should win the Dyson contest, especially if he can rebuild with brightly colored plastic. It's an elaborate, expensive solution to a problem that does not really need a solution. Right up Dyson's alley, no?

@im2fools: Facebook, youtube and twitter? What government are you working for?

@Xaoc: Agreed, everyone's grip is different, but regardless of grip, this design will put too much strain on the wrist.

Not very ergonomic. First off, it's too flat, so while your fingers might be ergonimically positioned, your wrist will not be which is ultimately much more important to long-term health, particularly with regard to CTS. @sygyzy: I bet you're right: you can't hate things you know - that would be silly.

@RutgerHauer: Also: skate-inspired helmet - check

@FredicvsMaximvs: You don't lose much more in taking the single from the whole piece than you do from taking the whole piece from the stage to the CD.

Remember when it was a funny new trend for designers to exaggerate their hate on comic sans' ubiquity in cheap signage? And then how all the non-design folks missed the point?

Ray-Ban's still make most of their frames from carbon fiber, and one can get a decent pair for around $100. I do want my sunglasses to fit me well, and part of what one gets with nicer sunglasses is better design. Sure, not all fit well, but the customer has more fits to choose from at the higher end than in the $50

@DoodleBob: Probably not, and you might have ADHD.

@Claytons: Also, keep in mind that he's making money blogging about this stuff. He has to have material to write about. I doubt he thinks it's practical for us all to obsess as much, hence why we read his blog.
