CitiBike will even bring hundreds of bikes to the popular pick up areas (like 52nd and 5th Ave) and just scan people’s tags and give them a bike because there is not enough dock space for the number of needed bikes. Dockless is the stupidest thing ever. They can make the scooters very cheap or even free to use but they have to add a steep fine if you don’t return it to an appropriate location or dock. This should have never been allowed in the first place. I remember seeing dockless bikes in Guangzhou, China almost 2 years ago…
