Beat me to it.

‘Days of Thunder’ animation. I think you nailed it.

This is how baby cars are made. ;) I guess I’m just an automotive OGBYN.

Getting hi-lights to track that nice is one of the most difficult tasks for anyone doing surface development, to put that effort into a race car, well done Mazda.

Yes, I should a mentioned that also.

I’ve been biting my tongue for months knowing this was coming. : )

I don’t know how much the ZR2 package will impact MPG, but real world mixed highway/city driving mostly around the Detroit area in a LB Crew Z71 I saw 24.4 MPG average over 6 months and 8k miles. In a Silverados I’ve used the same way it’s 18 MPG +/- a couple of tenths.

First off, quit whinnin’ about no heat in the winter, you’ll survive. Through the late 70's I drove a 65 Econoline as a winter beater, no heat most of the time very little when it was working. Being forward control and with shot peddle seals, a snowmobile keeps your feet warmer.

I’ve put 2 beaters out of my misery in this manor. A 72 Comet I bought for the 302 V8 in it, and a 74 Duster because it had an automatic and was was going to spend the next 6 months with my left leg in a cast.

Truer words have never been spoken. A star and my vote for COTD, but I’m not sure I’d want to see what $kay comes up with. ; )

I’m just a bit biased working at GM design, But David nailed it.

17.....Many, many times have I thought about that one.

“I know what car I want, I have no trade, and I pay cash, but I still feel like I’m walking through a haunted house run by a family of Nigerian princes.”

Look for a nice mall queen.

It will be really interesting to see how a level 5 autonomous vehicle handles a boat ramp.

Even a minor face lift takes more than a year and a half to plan, design and implement. To meet 2018, it’s been in the works since 2014 or earlier.

This is the correct answer. Like it or not, all car manufacturers have limited development budgets. Yes they are huge, but so are the costs involved. Unfortunately, they can’t do everything and make money, No money no new product, every time it comes down to what project has the best projected numbers.

Both, that’s part of the fun. ;)

I agree. Load your trailer, get your tongue weight right, unhitch your truck, replace “scale hitch” with a“road hitch”, re-hitch your trailer and your good to go.

I agree, they didn’t use the Vette cluster so there really was no need to use the rest of the IP. If the really, really, really wanted to use a more modern IP instead of fabbing up a custom one, a H2 IP would have looked a lot more appropriate in that truck.
