I thought it was the anti-power move. Skilled leaders know that when they speak, others listen; poor leaders require devices. I thought we were being shown another facet of his poor leadership qualities.

Yes, battle front nurses do a courageous and essential job but the action at the front is where the action is.

Both outfits were gorgeous and looked spectacular on Caitriona Balfe. I had dress envy for 3 solid episodes.

Okay, I have to get coffee. No one say anything terribly interesting whilst I'm gone.

Hmm, I didn't see that at all. I would go back and rewatch season 2 but I'm still frail and injured. I can only cope with so much third party PTSD.

Except these are gay guys all claiming Sam Heughan as one of their own. They're so obnoxious that even if the actor was gay, he'd flee from them, screaming.

…and they have to do something other than just bonk!

Same.

You're tough. I liked the Angus character a lot. He reminds me of a lot of the itinerant workers we have on our cattle properties - solid blokes, pretty decent, but characters all with appalling manners! It's a tough life and they're tough blokes. I didn't find them that cheesy.

I think it's the eternal problem of Americans portraying the English. The characters are often caricature-like and one dimensionally eccentric.

She was very good in that scene.

..or someone from Blackadder. Dashed muddy in this field, what, Baldrick?

I thought the Prince's costume was a device to show us how much he focussed on the wrong things. When charging the enemy, embroidery is often not so important.

Ah thanks. Good to know. For some reason I thought he'd gone back to Wentworth.

Of course I salivate over Sam Heughan. I'm a heterosexual woman with eyes.

I don't hold a grudge against Caitriona, I don't know her. I don't agree she's a brilliant actor nor that she's carried the show that well.

Is it because he hasn't had enough to do this seaon OR he thinks the material is getting worse by the episode and is just phoning it in?

Get a grip. This place is for balanced debate, not crazy fandom ranting. Your repeated assertion that anyone who finds Caitriona's acting ability wanting is because they're in love in Sam is puerile.

Yes……with his shirt off.

Good god these people need supervisors.
