Would you say no to Vera Farmiga?
Would you say no to Vera Farmiga?
Slings & Arrows, a Canadian show about a theatre group that aired ten years ago. Just everything I could possibly want in a show.
I watched Bron and both remakes and they're all surprisingly worthwhile. Like, to me Bron has the best Saga and The Bridge had the best Martin (well, Marco) but I think The Tunnel had the best partnership, if that makes sense. Dillane and Poesy just had great chemistry. I'm looking forward to S2.
Chris Carter needs to just stay away. Be a producer if he must, but just let other people write the show. No one cares about the mytharc, no one has ever cared about the mytharc since 1996. At best they should just let Mulder and Scully find their son and all the rest of the episodes are MOTW ones.
Man, I hate Kevin. All the Rayburns are terrible people , but he's just unbearable. And Kyle Chandler tried his best, but Nolan ended up being the season's MVP for me. I rolled my eyes when he first showed up because I'm so tired of surly rebellious teens, but he became so much more than that. It was such a small…
BILLY ZANE. I will watch this.
I blame the actor. He's been doing this thing with his face this season that's driving me crazy. Like he's trying to be De Niro.
I watched Pt 1 last night and I hope Malachi Kirby gets a bunch of roles out of this.
Alex stole my answer. Goddamn, Shohreh Aghdashloo's voice is delicious. I saw some people in the comments for The Expanse recaps saying they couldn't understand her, but I never had that problem. If she read audiobooks I'd buy them.
Something homoerotic, based on that picture. Be right back.
I hated that book so much. That main character was the biggest Gary Stu I have ever seen and then people defend it by saying "But it's him telling his story. He's gonna exaggerate it." So what? That still makes it boring to read. Didn't even a goddess of sex tell him he fucked better than anyone, even though he was a…
That's my main beef with Spectre. It was just not good overall, but all the Craig Bond movies, including QoS, were good Bond Girls. Lea Seydoux is not a bad actress, but she just felt so young next to Craig, even though she's not actually that young. And I felt no heat from them whatsoever.
I remember finding this show pretty meh while I was watching it last year, but after I was done I spent months thinking about it. Or, to be more exact, thinking about Ben Mendelsohn's performance. I'm still unsure about S2 because fuck those other Rayburns, man, but just knowing Mendelsohn is in it for a bit is enough…
Good God. I bet they're roadies for Mumford and Sons.
Stupid Code Black and Criminal Minds: Trump Edition get to live on, but this doesn't. So unfair. At least it ended in a good place.
I enjoyed it up to a point. I think it started pretty bad, but got fun around that shootout episode, then the party one and peaked at that episode where Farrell and McAdams are stuck in that hotel room. That scene where they share their feelings then bang could have been cheesy as hell, but it really worked for me.…
Seriously. Really, if it had been a show just about Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams it would have been a lot better.
I'm coolwith her as Bond, but a spinoff could be fun too. There are other agents. Watch Gillian Anderson go from getting her double-oh status to becoming M in four movies.
Is "I Don' Want to Get Over You" underrated? Because it's my favorite along with "I Think I Need a New Heart."
Call me when Charles and Erik make out already.
