I still can’t believe that goal. My parents are visiting and they never watch soccer and even my dad was all “WTF?”

Even The Great Dictator?

I feel like people didn't really read the article.

You can acknowledge St. Vincent as being "great" - for the purposes of this discussion - but not Daft Punk?

The Rolling Stones bore the hell out of me. Everyone's all like "greatest rock band in history," comparing them with the Beatles (seriously, FOH), Zeppelin (who, while overrated, at least rock), etc. I get that they're influential and the longevity is impressive, but I don't want to listen to any of their songs ever.

I only made it through the first 100 pages of IJ so I can't really comment, but that fandom (and that's really the only appropriate word for it) strikes me as a perfect demonstration of the Stockholm Syndrome theory of big books.

I've tried Stardust. I've tried American Gods. Nothing.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - I started the PS3 version a while back, but abandoned it early on because there were too many competing titles drawing my attention. Hopefully I can get through this before Fallout 4 drops.

And here is the main lobby of PokerStars, which is no longer legal

Within the first few pages of The Corrections, I knew there would be no chance of Jonathan Franzen ever writing anything I might enjoy. Not since “Victorian Novel” in my junior year have I slogged through anything so unrewarding.

Norris nodded knowingly.

Tottenham benefited from the linesman’s terrible judgment, as well as the absence of critical City players Hart, Kompany and Silva. Hard to say it was “a long time coming” on that basis....

...rolling cigarettes?

Said I wasn't going to listen to anything besides Chvrches this weekend. I lied.

Damn. On second listen through and "Make Them Gold" is the only one I really don't like. And I wish Mayberry had been singing on High Enough, otherwise I love this album ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We Sink is so good! What is wrong with all you people???

Lungs is one of my favorites!! Still in very heavy rotation.

Will not listen to anything else until I see them in Central Park Tuesday.

That's not selling out. We're in the streaming age - artists need to make money however they can and licensing their music is a good way to do it without compromising themselves. When they start writing jingles for Target or JCPenney about saving big on fall fashion, then we can criticize them for selling out.
