Some people with disabilities, especially those that manifest more physically and are more visible, seem to fear that physican-assisted suicide will lead to a ‘duty to die’ and the involuntary euthanasia. I understand that fear, but I think the current physician-assisted suicide laws are written to avoid that, as well…

Specifically what sort of emergencies? Like, is it bullet proof? Or does it have some sort of special powers like that suit in that Greatest American Hero show? Was it brought to earth by aliens? Did you lose the instructions?

Actually, it’s kind of the exact opposite--this shows how very difficult it is to convincingly fake an attack, and how easily the stories of people lying about being assaulted crumble under investigation. Nobody is sincerely equating “believe victims” with “don’t investigate crimes”; that’s a straw man used by rape…

I have a pelvic pain specialist, but only have a diagnosis of vulvar vestibulitis to date. I’ve done 2 rounds of physical therapy and am on 2 different medications for the pain. I don’t even have an endo diagnosis yet since the first 2 rare expensive specialists ignored my mentions of painful periods and the studies…

As far as the why would anyone else with them be entitled to the same benefits remark; most times the other people with them are there because they are needed (parents, siblings and/or caregivers) to even get them there, help them in general and and ensure their safety. Many times these people don’t have the funds…

It’s mentioned in the post but if you’re a vet with a service connected disability you qualify regardless of the % of your disability.
