I’m skeptical that they were actually filming from that close. I bet they just moved the camera closer for this still photograph (probably a publicity shot). You’d need a fisheye lens to get a proper shot of the lion at that distance and the mic would probably be in the shot.

What I think is horrifying is if you read the article text on the 7up ad, it advises mixing equal part 7up with milk for a young baby. Nothing says setting up a child for success as a 50/50 mix of Mother’s breastmilk and 7up for breakfast!
