Thats correct. They have to spend all their time figuring out how not to handbuild mass production cars. Thats going to take many many years, if they do it at all. I doubt they will.

It’s a concept. They’re there to get away from legislation and make cool looking things.

Who would have thought a few years ago that mazda would make, hands down, the best looking cars on the road in the future? Their whole fleet, especially the CX3, look amazing compared to the boring trash pushed out by their rivals. This looks as though it it’s going to carry on that newly established tradition.

But, there is a problem, the image of saving the environment will only last so long? Have you been in a tesla? They are fucking horrible spartan places to be. It does not feel like a luxury car. I cannot see anyone repeat buying a tesla once the real car companies electric cars come on stream.

They couldn’t protect anything because there’s nothing original about their cars. They shoved a lot of batteries in it, made them heavier than normal car manufacturers would make an electric car, and that gives it range and speed. They’re quite crude vehicles really, its all stock technology.

Tesla will be a battery manufacturer within 3 years. The model 3 is going to destroy it.
