My friend keeps talking about how he wants to turn his GTI into a track thing and have an EV daily driver, but not a Nissan Leaf. Lately he’s been saying he really wants an EV convertible. Now I get to send him this!

I have to admit, the clip does make the movie seem really lame and generic...even though I really like the concept, love Martin Freeman, love Trevor Noah, etc.

Uhhhh just buy a Durango, have an interior company dress it up, and pocket at least $200k.

Thank you for this. I am so sick and tired of the halo hate. It is an incredibly elegant engineering solution that balances driver ingress/egress, visibility, head protection from vehicles and debris, aerodynamics, and aesthetics. Anyone who has any appreciation of how hard it is to design anything that needs to do

While there is so much extremism around Tesla in the pro- and anti- directions, this assessment seems really real.

15 MPH!? Pah! I used to race at a tight little indoor place that geared itself toward more serious karters, and the state law said something like “entertainment facilities cannot have attractions with speeds over 29 MPH” or something like that.

I get that, but I’m still waiting to see how it translates. Sometimes a car that is very similar to another car struggles to match the cohesiveness of its stablemate. I hope the i30 N translates to the Veloster N, basically. Not to diss Hyundai/Kia or N specifically, I think it’s possible for any brand to fail to

They don’t want to have open mesh when they can have a closed surface because openings are bad for drag and therefore fuel efficiency. Manufacturers only want to open up as much cooling as they need to for reliability on a given model and no more. Lower end models need less cooling and therefore get more plastic

I want to know how the Veloster N compares in driving dynamics, usability, and performance with the GTI Performance Package.

Cool stuff. I also find the 360 Modena to be my favorite Ferrari! Though I have to admit, their 5 valve cylinder heads look a lot like two VW 1.8T cylinder heads side by side in a photo, so I’ve definitely seen photos of similar heads that are much more pedestrian. Though if VW had made two 1.8Ts into a 3.6 liter

Windshields are very helpful...I remember riding passenger in a Caterham on the ‘ring with no windshield (just a low cowl). Because I hadn’t planned on it, I just had my open face helmet from the hatchback I was driving that day. I got some gravel kicked into my face off the tire of a Mercedes race car and it HURT!

99.9% of bro dozers are tuned for looks (insecurity for manchildren) and 0.1% of them are tuned to perform. This is why I hate them, they are stupid for multiple reasons at once.

As a gay white man who feels so anti-racist and pro-black and has had wonderful experiences dating black men and would be very happy to date another one again, it saddens me to read this article and read Glover’s white wife framed that way. We’re in the minority for sure sadly, but there are white people out there who

It’s pretty ugly, but I love the Gallardo/Huracan lineup, it would’ve been so cool if the V10 Lambos had gotten started a generation or two earlier and we could’ve enjoyed that evolution.

OMG I died when I saw that trash can. SO RANDOM!

What dealer was it? We should know so we can avoid them.

Overtightened oil filters is the main reason I never have anyone else change my oil besides myself. 16 years of oil changes and I’ve never made an oil filter loose enough to leak, or too tight to take off the next time. Why do so many struggle to do this right?

I hope this fails. I don’t think this is a good track or a good host city.

This problem and problems like it are happening all over the world. We are rapidly losing water quality globally, and our needs for clean water have never been higher. Water is inherently easy to pollute and difficult to clean due to its fundamental chemistry. Preventing pollution is going to be the most sane and

But the problem with Monaco is that the entire track is narrow and there’s no place to overtake. Baku doesn’t have that problem. Apples and oranges dude, you have to understand what makes things the way they are...
