Why am I so convinced this car would be better with the LT1 instead of the Turbo V6?

Could the new Mercedes or Red Bull get under a minute? Some tracks the latest cars seem to be fastest, on others it was still that V10 generation.
YYUUSSSSS I LOVE GREEN! BUY GREEN CARS! THEY ONLY COME AROUND EVERY GENERATION FOR A FEW YEARS!!! :D *dances out in the street*
I was just thinking of the age of the Charger and Challenger, and they’re even older because they’re turn-of-the-century E-classes underneath, but they still look great and they’ve done a good job of keeping them updated...they’re not throwing full redos at the car like other manufacturers, but they have gone through…
The defense played on racial animus to get a murderer off. As an anti-racist white person, I always wanted to see OJ Simpson go away for what he did. I never thought of it as “we gotta get a black guy!”. I had zero interest in that. I saw a murderer getting away with murder and said, that ain’t right.
I like this movie more than most people because I saw it before the original. I saw it in theaters, I was 17, super into cars, it was well produced and well cast and the story was understandable and had a pace to it. It actually took me a couple tries at watching the original to really wrap my head around it after…
It looks too mousey...otherwise, very much like a Supra. But kinda miniaturized(-looking) and cuter?
...the glaring downsides to old Top Gear as well: rampant, out-of-touch nationalism, racist remarks and tacky sexism. The show had gone stale seasons ago...
I’ve seen that exact car on the road! Driving through Castro Valley, CA for work. Looked clean, definitely caught my eye.
Seems a lot like my Alltrack, but no manual...
Accord Euro Type R Wagon. NSX Type-R. Honda Beat. I am not enough of a Honda fan to know of anything more obscure than those...but those would be ones I’d want!
You’d just do a deep HMA plug repair...saw cut around the pothole, pull up the asphalt and base rock, work the subgrade if it needs it, and then do lifts of hot-mix asphalt to the surface, compacting as you go. They could do it in a day, plus logistics and permitting and what not leading up to it, if they got funding…
Hyundai/Kia/Genesis is definitely an established brand now. They’re at least as established and respected as Toyota/Lexus was at by the mid-90s, no?
Port + direct is pretty ideal to get the lean burn efficiency of direct injection with the valve-cleaning effect of the port injectors to stop carbon build-up. VW does that in Europe...but cheapens out for the US and removes the port injectors here. Boo.
It’s likeable enough, but is it really that special looking? I can see several other sedans in these shapes and details.
As mentioned here, the CC found a market, and in my experience it has a little fan base of its own. I bet the Arteon will pick up a lot of people for the same reason the CC did: there’s always a market for a premium, under the radar product.
Pretty sure he was being sarcastic, but if he wasn’t, then I share your befuddled-ness.
Yeap! Also, the exact same consultants and groups who muddied the waters for the Tobacco companies are now muddying the waters for the fossil fuel industry. Go check out “Merchants of Doubt” (if you can stand becoming that angry...)
Sure! Here’s a couple.
Actually, a common climate change denier claim is that air pollution/smog DOES matter, and look how much cleaner the air looks now! We’re fine. Quit asking so many questions...and don’t you dare ask about our campaign contributions.
