Would be happy to buy one... with a manual. I know I’m in the minority but I won’t shut up aboot it.

I’m confused why you’d flip most people to a product that makes you and your dealer less money? Granted, there are nice people working at dealerships sometimes, however they are pushed out pretty early in their careers or move into the luxury dealerships ASAP.
All those low vehicles with their overhangs over the concrete parking stops stresses me the heck out. I cringe when my friends scrape their Ford STs, much less a $100k+ sports car.
I’m not sure why you assume Porsche drivers have to have some exorbitant amount of wealth; they would certainly sell a lot less vehicles if that was the case. Short of tracking them every weekend the running expenses aren’t unreasonable & truthfully that can be expensive in any car.
I take it you haven’t driven one? They’re surprisingly good on a high speed track, just have to know it’s limitations. The steering gives surprising amounts of feedback(might even by hydraulic?) telling you when you’re abusing the tires & the suspension is pretty well sorted. I’d recommend giving it a shot.
BMW 230i too dissimilar? I feel like I’d cross shop it at this price point for sure.
I definitely read that originally as if you bought a 2nd house near yours and gutted it to make it an awesome garage. Regardless this is an awesome setup. I have to take a 24+ minute metro ride to my shop anytime I want to work on something, I’d be a lot happier having this in my backyard instead.
I hope the new owners of Lotus knew of this ad prior to purchase:
It disgusts me now, but I loved the texture of my old ‘93 Land Crusher seat belts. I would fold them in my mouth and let it run between my teeth after I pulled it all to it’s lock.
I guess the guys with Manufacturer/Model logos printed in their car covers are doing it to hopefully satiate the appetite of casual jerks. It is extremely difficult to not scratch a car when taking on and off a car cover, storing it, etc. the thought of some stranger doing it makes me cringe. I guess those car bubbles…
Why they made the 63 S only on the “Coupe” bodystyle of the GLC I’ll never know. My pops will just buy the non-S standard roof and save $12k or w/e they decide to charge for a worse performing but far more practical and better looking SUV.
It’s a lifted diesel wagon you can potentially buy in brown & tow a miata with, seems okay to me. It’s not like I’m going to go into my garage and stare at my CUV or polish it’s misshapen panels.
I’m glad to hear GM picked Darby up and I hope I get to see her designs on the road around us soon.
More power with no turbo lag? Offer the chassis to GM:

Porsche has the photos up on their site now:
997 GT3, I haven’t driven a car before or since that I could drive everyday & not be jealous of someone else.
I know this bike isn’t built for high mpg, but 30?!?! Holy hell that’s similar mileage to my ‘05 GSXR 1000 when I rode it hard all weekend. At least I was able to get 48+ cruising at 65-70 mph on the highway.
+1, I’m glad I noticed the author’s name, otherwise I wouldn’t have wasted the time reading about a car I have no interest in. Am not leaving disappointed.
