The Simpsons? Is that still on?

I remember that. ESPN wanted an "everyman" voice then, like ABC with Dennis Miller. What a disaster.

As a long-time Chicagoan, I don't think the episode ever made a joke at the city's expense. The details were excellent. They're right, we love our meats here.

If it's one thing ABC has gotten right in its prime-time family shows, it's the MILFs.

Constance Wu: hot and funny. Hunny. Or Fot.

Well said.

That's true. The only counter-argument I can come up with is that if America wants to be exceptional and run the world, its citizens probably should be better than others at identifying countries.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I think it's enough for someone to have at least heard about Grey Gardens to appreciate what's going on here. Good stuff - I'm looking forward to see what else they've got.

Really? I don't recall Cosby calling anyone a ni**er on that show.

"…doing a good impression of what his father would be like if he had little to no screen presence."

Here's a list of 15 of the best episodes in the series:

The most Republican popular science fantasy/fiction out there is probably Star Wars: Power is absolute and only accessible by a select few. Your distinguishing characteristic is whose army you belong to. Everyone has a gun.

As an Ivy League graduate, I can confirm that a lack of ability to reason and think are definitely NOT qualities that would keep you from graduating.

I don't understand the question.

Just saw the whole six episodes. I liked the series a lot, same as I liked Spoils of Babylon. It's just a funny good time that's not trying to be more than it is. Just like the first series, a lot of the details in this one like the "What is Jazz" animated short are really well done.

Some other really good ones from this year (so far):

For Depp's triumphs, I would replace Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas with Donnie Brasco.

German generals were already trying to kill Hitler during WWII, so if someone actually manged to do it between 1939 and 1945, Germany would have called a truce with the US and UK and maintained their Nazi empire with most of the land they captured early on.

"Holding Back the Years" and "When I Think of You" are the only ones that come close. But no, there is no better song than "West End Girls" on that list.
