Seriously we need to stop this idea that Charles Martinet would be a good mario for 90 minutes. He does a fantastic job with the short quips and reaction lines but god if you hear him trying to do long form mario it is just grating and awful.
Hopefully Pratt’s voice is better than we all fear, because I think he actually did a really good job as Emmet in The LEGO Movie.

Yes, the central theme had definitely been of everyone dealing with the aftermath, while this multiverse threat grows because everyone is too self-involved to be paying attention. There’s a sub theme of heroic legacy, with lots of new heroes taking up the mantles of old ones.
