Alter all those times when we had no words, they finally sent a poet.

@resvrgam: Yeah, I didn't see any evidence in the video that they fixed the actual problem which, as you say, was with the internals. Hopefully that's just an issue with the video - I'm looking forward to getting a confirm / deny on d-pad quality once people get some thumb time with 'em at pax.

@Mark Arnold: ...and if Pontiac had actually made it, maybe they'd still be around.

Oh god, not the "drivers are irresponsible" v. the "cyclists are irresponsible" debate again.

@bearslayer: A belt sander a a bit o' creativity will fix that .

@Kuro: "Burning Man with meth"? You obviously haven't been to burning man.

@Middleswine: Thanks, but I meant that I'd like to know which story the comment was posted in... it sounds like this one, I guess?

Can we start getting links back to the threads where these occurred? I miss them.

@SkaHimself: "Just" an engine/drivetrain/electrical swap?

@McDees_nuts: The people who comment on the internet are the absolute lunatic fringe of every subject.

@Wunno Sev: Stylistically, I'm willing to give it a pass, because I sometimes appreciate workmanship even if I don't appreciate the aesthetic of the result. My only complaint is that it buts up against (arguably) one of the greatest car crimes: rendering an otherwise cool car unusable.

@Wunno Sev: (re: donks) I think you touched on why they don't bother me as much as they might, because the results are hilarious to look at. Donk'd cars have a dedication to one-upsmanship only seen previously in group B rally.

@Roberto G.: It's got character, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little fibreglass work up front.

@Serious332ci: If you're headed out, could you take that music with you?

@KillerRaccoon: You're absolutely right - I just wish that race cars (of all stripes) were more indicative of their consumer performance. Anyone who buys a US-spec Focus based on Gronholm's performance is going to be sorely disappointed when they get it home.

@Elhigh: I wonder if he'd be able to have a tire that looked like it was shot through with an arrow...

@Elhigh: Glad I'm not the only one who hasn't heard of this guy. If we're going to go with people from SNL, how about asking what Steve Martin drives?

@Møbius: Yeah, I was sort of disappointed when Subaru had this feature on the SWRT site about how Prodrive made the WRC car:

For reference, I got a $350 ticket for doing 85 in a 65. If you've ever driven on the I-5 in SoCal, you know that I was just keeping up with traffic.
