@fuchikoma: I imagine most of situations where a bike rear-ends something that was moving in a predictable fashion are due to an inexperience with speed. It takes a deceptively long time to (safely) decelerate from 100+mph and things jump up on you quickly.

@Foxwolfe: Or just spend the $200 for the MSF classes! By the end of the class you'll either be in love or terrified.

@OMGLX: Just FYI, making an unsolicited suggestion is the best way for it to never see the light of day. There are some legal complications with idea ownership, and most companies will ignore them rather than face the potential legal battle that ensues in our sue-happy nation if they use anything close to an idea

@pauljones: Especially when I'm so jealous of the monkey. The little dude got to push one of those big cartoon plungers! Who grew up watching Looney Tunes and can honestly say that they never wanted to do that?

@buzz killington: Buzz killington strikes with the rare "fitting post / username" combo.

@KTown Hoonboy: Have you considered telling them that you took up farming?

@CatsAkimbo: I loved The Ship, despite its clumsy and sporadically mappable controls. The few times I'd gotten enough friends together to play it, we had a pretty good time.

@ThreeLitre: I just had this stunning revelation wherein I equated model bloat to the real-world manifestation of reduced focal length.

@Jagvar: On numerous occasions, this site has made me want a E30 M3.

This is seriously my favorite CoTD. Love the meter and love the dark turn at the end. Lewis Carroll couldn't have penned it better.

@Rob Makowski: If someone said this to me I don't know if I could still be their friend.

@Potatosw✭tter: Then I expect an upswing in amateur gymkhana-style videos.

@jark: Hm. Sounds like everyone I know got the wrong color parachute, then.

Wait, so what happens to all those people who worked for GM in their waning years and were given stock options in lieu of liquid bonuses?

@MrGoodCat: That dude is effing metal. No, scratch that; that dude is carbon fiber.

@Roberto G.: Also, some of us work in the goddamn 21st century where women might wander by at any time. I'd like to be able to peruse the comments on the CoTD threads without some (very reasonable) questions from the women I work with.

I actually enjoyed the commentary because they know they're filming a tragedy in progress.

@Suby555: ...and that's a heart-click for another respectable sti owner in the 'correct' color.

@Suby555: Ah, excellent! I didn't have that picture on my work computer and it was the first thing I thought of. Last time I took the STI offroad, I didn't wash it for weeks because I loved rolling up on the pritine lifted trucks at stoplights.
