@Kuang: "This guy's brain is working on a completely different timescale to mine" - that is absolutely what was going through my head while watching this. It's just another day at the office for that guy but if I'd done that in twice the time, I'd still be catching my breath and bragging about it.

@Lotte: Wiki ( [en.wikipedia.org] ) says 360hp, but no torque listing. Regardless of torque, that's a lot of "go" for a little gogo.

@Lotte: I was kind of hoping to see it, you know... move. How much horsepower does one of those monstrosities put out, anyway?

@Cloud81918: Ladies and gentlemen, gaze in wonder at this engineering perversion! Combining the most reliable chassis with the least reliable engine... the V12 Miata!

Wait, nobody's stealing minis? They're missing out!

@nick2ny: Unless I'm missing something clever, yes. The track configuration was the same and the earth hasn't put on weight.

@clank-o-tron: P.S.: That wasn't actually a Barnum quote. See what I mean?

Once you start charging $11k for a car wash, you don't NEED to justify it, you just let the rubes line up to give you money.

"...you know, back in MY day, if you wanted a badass, fast car you had to shift your own gears".

How much for an F40 body kit?

@luisthebeast: I'd just planned on hiring a dude to duct-tape me into the seat every time I wanted to go somewhere. Twenty or thirty point harnessing at least.

@IFTNFS: Wow, I usually skim the music posts, but this... this. I can hear it in my head. Amazing.

Every time I see one of these I think about caging my daily driver. Guess I'd need some 5-point-harnesses, too...

@Kerc 2.0 beta: I will never understand why rally isn't more popular in the states. It's got ridiculous speed, beautiful scenery and positively bonkers crashes that the occupants walk away from.

@Jackie: Those guys are two cool cucumbers. They're stepping out of the windshield hole of a destroyed car like they didn't just roll five times. Not a cheer of triumph over death nor a angry scream, just "well, I guess we'll take lunch early then."

Okay, so can we agree that a "blacked-out" car indicates a terrible driver?

@darkgroove: I thought I was done laughing at this meme but, by god, you proved me wrong.

@Electro Gyrocator: ...and if you were willing to make it mid-engined, you could probably throw a viper engine in there.
