@tankman: Okay, rally - being a solo event - was a bad example, but my WTCC / BTCC example still stands. Nascar, as an organization, doesn't recognize teammates. Yes, there are teams that run multiple cars but they're not a team in the sense that points are accrued by driver, not team or manufacturer.

@RäcinG73™: I think it's largely considered "boring" because every other method of racing does everything Nascar does and more.

@oddfish: And pronounce it con-troversy instead of contro-versy.

@Ash78, Keyser Soze: Huh. Didn't expect a Dungeons and Dragons reference 'round here. Oddly refreshing.

@Quattro-luvr: My thoughts exactly. I was hoping that the sheer class of the R8 would work as a fire suppression unit.

Oh man, I am a sucker for collector's editions that have game world objects in them. THIS is how you sell CEs.

@Gimmi Mørgäikkönën: That's only because of the conspicuous consumption that runs rampant up here - you gotta let everyone know how rich and responsible you are by buying a new hybrid every 2 years instead of a new5-series.

@jedi4life: I think that when they're speaking of the "Bugatti's capabilities" that the tires were designed for, they're not talking about the car's speed capabilities but rather its capability to bleed money from its owners.

"Didn't do anything wrong?"

@IN THE FACE!: I'd ask if you could get me a discounted rate on the same package.

@PatFromGundo: I've never been on that when it wasn't snarled with traffic, but now that I'm thinking about it, you're right.

@IN THE FACE!: Similarly, if you love Subarus but hate tuners. They belong on dirt, not tarmac.

@PatFromGundo: Hah... the freeway onramp I use to get home from work everyday is a decreasing radius turn. Most cars just hug the inside and have to slow down when it tightens, but every now and then, I'll see someone take it like they should.

@$kaycog: Wasn't this your answer for "what you'd drive if you were an asshole"? I guess your love for GTs transcends ethics.

@Desu-San-Desu: I can't disagree with that sentiment, but I think the Caparo is attractive in its own way. They're both great, but the sheer madness of the Atom wins me over as well. Plus, you can have a passenger in the Atom - and road trips by oneself are always a little depressing.

@Desu-San-Desu: You're concerned about the looks? If the car's anything more recognizable than a blur, you're doing it wrong.

@Møbius: You've got that all wrong, imo. Hammond has an irrational love of the 911, Clarkson would appreciate the raw power of the Mustang (he unapologetically owns a Ford GT) and May would try and tell us that the Genesis is the future of cars.

@The_Phreak: I wish more people would. Still, I understand where the doubtful are coming from - we've been deceived too many times to have actual faith in something like this. I mean, c'mon... "the TV people" brought back KITT as a damn Mustang. How do they expect us to trust them?

@$kaycog: I was thinking along the lines of their "I love what you do for me" tagline... as in "I love having an excuse for accidents caused by me being incapable of driving".

@BrtStlnd: or the Frivolous Unorganized Crime... Kommittee?
