A few months ago I was on a flight when the guy near me opened a brown paper bag and pulled out a can of TUNA. He proceeded to scoop it out of the can with crackers and I proceeded to think bad thoughts about him and his progeny.

Your UPS comment made me remember just the other day that I didn't know my package had arrived because of a knock or doorbell, but because I heard the box slam against the ground in front of the door. I wondered what it was and when I opened the door my package was sitting there.

I think this may have the (un)intended effect of causing the drivers to try and doorbell ditch you so that they can earn that little bit more for a redelivery.
