All I know is what my brother and friends have said about their school. I don’t have any direct experience, so I can’t really speak to that further.

I went to an all-girls school. I loved it and hope to send my (potential) daughter(s) there one day. I didn’t find that the school encouraged a single way of being a girl— it encouraged all ways. It was like we were living in a bubble in which society’s expectations of girls were muffled. There was no ‘boys like

Exactly. It’s one step away from “Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.”

As an American, I found it very gratifying that the marches yesterday were global. I know that Trump is a global threat for a variety of reasons, so people weren’t necessarily marching to show support for us. But it still felt kind of like all of the support we got in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

It’s solidarity with not just our American sisters and non-binary siblings, but the women all over the world who will be impacted by Trump’s foreign policy decisions. It’s protesting that Trump is surely going to defund science granting institutes and AIDS research which impacts, for example, my job at a Canadian

For me, it was absolutely about solidarity. It was also about sending a message to Kevin O’Leary and Kellie Lietch. It was hubris from the progressive vote in the US that landed Trump in the White House. We can’t afford to let our guards down here. But this nationalist populism is a global movement. And we in Canada,

Did you actually march? Husband and I went to Grosvenor Sq and waited around for like 2 hours and...nothing happened. I think someone spoke for like 2 minutes but I couldn’t really hear them? Husband’s back started acting up so we ended up just going home. :(

Stop calling her a Jackie Kennedy wanna- be. She’s clearly a Carla Bruni knock-off.

I mean, it seems like the entire gist of the show is:

It’s going to be like American Idol for wildlife. “You, owl, prove to us that you deserve to live, because that manatee waiting off stage is bringing his game!”

I see oddly-focused Shia LeBeouf

Just imagine being so rich that when someone asks you if you donated 200 million dollars you’re all “Idk maybe”.

In the conversations about the risks Trump poses to women, religious and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ people, and the non-wealthy, we haven’t paid nearly enough attention to the utter devastation that is about to descend on public school students. This woman is as terrifying as any other nominee he’s put forth.

There we go again.

This. Milo is a troll in the truest sense of the word - he’s found a way to piss people off by leveraging his identity (“I’m gay and I hate your politics, what now liberals?!”) and make money while doing it.

Oh yeah I agree with that too. I believe his hatred/misogyny/homophobia/transphobia/racism are all real, I just think he thrives more off of the general chaos he instigates and the attention it brings than advancing his bigoted agenda. But either way he’s scum. 🤷🏽‍♀️

You realize that he turned the whole school he last talked at against a trans student, right? One who had to change schools for her own safety? Not everyone has the privilege to just ignore this guy through his hissy fits.

I don’t believe this guy is a “true believer” in any sense. He’s “chaotic evil” if you pardon my nerd jargon. Just generally wants to sow hatred and whip people into a tizzy for his own amusement and self-aggrandizement.

I have a friend who’s 3 year old slept in their bed and they couldn’t get him out. So he moved to a pile of blankets on the floor in an effort to get him to go to his own bed. But he just would up sleeping there. When she became pregnant again, I was like, but how? Turns out they’d just sneak into his room and have
