To be honest, I also don’t care about Trump’s consensual affairs. We’d probably have to get rid of 99% of all politicians if we gave a shit about consensual affairs, particularly when the participants are smart enough to keep it all under wraps (unlike tweein’ Weiner).

Every time one of my acquaintances shares that nonsense on Facebook, I want to scream, “This is the propaganda your history books warned you about!”
“The closeted perv has never come out as gay”
Because he very well may not be; being a child predator /= gay. Abusive sex is about power, not identity.
Good. Let this serve as a reminder that women have always, always fought. Vikings had shield maidens and Shaka Zulu had his all-female body guard. Women dressed as men to join the fight. They take up arms and become rebels and guerillas. In Russia they become bombers and tankers and snipers. In feudal Japan they…
It’s worth pointing out that Marie Stopes is the UK’s private abortion provider. English women can still get abortions anywhere, anytime for free on the NHS as long as they don’t mind having less flexibility in appointment times.
I work a lot with contractors and could not agree more. The young guys in the field are woefully unskilled and lack critical thinking. I had some guys demo out an office, and they demo’d all the HVAC venting so that there was just a single open duct pipe on one side of the room that was blowing air out at the wind…
very good point. if he doesn’t want to be found innocent and isn’t scared of the trial, why does that mean he’s not fit?
So, I’m Gwen Snyder, the woman in the article. It was a pretty awful experience and my biggest hope is to use it to make some sort of positive change at the DNC and at the Doubletree, which refused to help me. I do have a couple asks if folks want to take action:
Anyone interested in the history of make up must read Lisa Eldrige’s Face Paint. A lot of the photography features vintage compacts, which she collects. The book itself is incredibly well written and interesting.
I typically try to stay away from sweeping generational blame, but this morning someone in my FB feed posted a phenomenally depressing infographic that displayed the voting preferences for the Brexit broken down by age group, along with “how many years they’ll live with this decision”. Damn if it wasn’t the most…
Him x 17m right now.
I’m really interested to see the email all the non-UK students at my university (more than half the student body) get if this passes.
I am sitting here, at dawn, watching my country put worker’s rights, human rights, equality and protection for the disabled, and the UK economy on a bonfire, for the sake of some Union-jack-bunting “patriotism”, on the say-so of ghouls like Farage and Duncan-Smith. (Whatever happens next won’t touch them. They will…
I only speak for myself, but I watch shows like this because I’m interested in medicine and how hospitals work. I don’t watch these shows hoping to see someone die, and because I don’t want to fall into a rage spiral, I’m going to assume a majority of people watching the show aren’t hoping to see a death.
True, depending on the occupation and so on. I was being generous, for sure.
Because God doesn’t apply to them?
This was really interesting Maddie. More stuff like this on Pictoral please. Also, “check my eggs” can be construed several ways.
