It seems like all Fox News ladies would have to exist on a sort of spectrum. On one end you’d have Megyn Kelly & Kimberly Guilfoyle, who are functionally intelligent and took the job because they are soulless. On the other end you’d have someone like Caitlin Upton of “some people out there in our nation don’t have

He quit because of pressure from within the Democratic party, including Chuck Schumer. It’s quite disingenuous to now blame him for doing what most people were calling for him to do at that time. He said from the beginning that he wanted an investigation.

He says he was pressured into resigning and would have preferred not to resign and have an investigation.

Since being shown that he had acted inappropriately with these women, he made a choice to be more mindful with pretty much everyone. I’m struggling to spin this as a negative.

Because an accusation is still just an accusation if there’s no admission or investigation. Whether we like it or not, there is a lot of discussion around Franken and there is no broad consensus that his resignation was warranted. There was no investigation. So that lack of consensus means that one side can’t dominate

He did apologize, repeatedly, just not in this interview.
I dunno about anyone else, but I personally don’t expect him to apologize every time he speaks in public for the next 10 years.

Considering how the conservatives lost their minds of the color of a suit, it would have been off the charts.

It never will because “we need to hear both sides” will continue to be spouted by the worst of us.

I’m a simple man, the only thing I really want from a Joker story is Batman showing up and thwarting his villainous schemes.

However, as a career shithead and professional troll I have to watch this movie so that I can argue online about it.

God, I hate myself. >_<

Joker is one of my all-time favorite comic characters and probably my favorite villain, but everything about this movie and the discussion around it just makes me feel physically tired. At least Leto-Joker was easily dismissed as a dumb stunt that was barely even in that crap movie, this movie and the surrounding

I’m sure there must be some Silver Age or early Bronze Age story involving Gotham or Metropolis or Coast City or someplace having a Walk of Fame, or possibly a Hall of Fame, and trying to hijack Superman/Batman/whoever’s induction, or possibly something about Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent getting a star or statue and how

Ummm... no shit!

lol look in the mirror buddy

Is that your way of deflecting? Cuz you made a really stupid point, got explained how obviously there is nothing else that cast on Stan’s arm can be for, and now instead are just saying how we all sound dumb for talking about it. If I have some advice for you, it would be don’t take up any debate class, and definitely

... you do understand that there is literally nothing else Stan’s arm sling could be an allusion to.  It’s obviously saying he was shot in the arm.

You expected... amputation? What?

So that’s where it stopped being real and logical for you?

Well, they’re treated with bandages, then immobilized with slings to keep the wounds from reopening. But you knew that.

Gizmo - I thought that.  I was also pretty sure that his arms were positioned correctly to "invisibly" levitate the kid, though I was so bored by this episode that I'll never re-watch it to check.
