Thank you. It’s pure nostalgia that carries them. They’re all garbage. Honestly, I think the first Schumacher one was a slight improvement. At least they tried to understand the characters, even if it was just in the barest sense. The Burton films are just Burton excercising his leather fetish on cardboard cutouts.

You do realize that people write movies, right? The so-called "impossible situation" that Superman was supposedly placed in, was a decision made by writers. It wasn't a real thing that happened. They chose to write it that way, they chose to make Superman a murderer.

Donner never had Superman kill anyone. They go to a holding cell beneath the fortress of Solitude. In the Donner cut, Superman goes back in time and prevents Zod from ever even escaping the Phantom Zone.

Holy cow Bob. Who knew the Gizmodo readership was a bunch of spoiled 12 year olds? I can’t believe you have to explain to almost every comment the concept of Saturday Morning cartoons. I’m 22 by the way.

I thought everyone with an ounce of sense would have agreed to never let him make another movie after Sucker Punch, but yeah.

I mean this isn’t surprising at all. There’s another old interview with Zack where he says the Nolan Dark Knight films aren’t dark enough, and that if he was making them, he’d have Batman get raped in prison. So...

Well I’m 21 and I’ve seen all of them, so...

Michael Rosenbaum, Clancy Brown, and Kevin Spacey are better.

Couldn’t agree more with every point you made.

The messed up thing is they genuinely do worship him. His twitter feed was where I really started to see the whole creepy, calling celebrities Daddy or mommy thing

Again, I do have a problem with that. But you’re wrong about every movie. I’m pretty sure Ant-man only kils yellowjacket. Dr. Strange only kills a guy on accident, and then feels terrible about it and shows genuine remorse. And Spider-Man never kills anyone ever.

Really? I don’t remember that. That’s hilarious. I still don’t like those movies though

who said I didn’t have a problem with the killing in those movies?

how about when he drives through a guys face. Or when he shreds a car with a minigun and then plows through the burning remains, making it explode. Or when he swings a crate into a guys head so hard that there is visible brain matter on the wall he smashes into, or when he blows up several vehicles with people in and

Jeez this show sucks now. I think I’m done watching it. Again.

What?

You think look is going to die in this one? I’m pretty sure since Carrie Fisher died, they’ll keep Hamill until IX. So they have at least one character from the original trilogy.

In fairness, the average fan does keep paying to see these terrible movies. So maybe the average fan is pretty dumb.

That’s what I hope.

You were really mean to the stolen earth/Journey’s End. That’s a great episode.
