I cared. And Batman doesn’t kill, because that’s the entire point.
I cared. And Batman doesn’t kill, because that’s the entire point.
In reality it was probably just another pointless go-nowhere scene tacked on by Hack Snyder. Probably in hopes that it would eventually turn into a story point when they finally make something up 6 movies down the line or something. Hope probably isn’t an emotion Snyder has ever experienced though considering how he…
Okay, firstly, Keaton’s Batman sucked. Secondly, I could talk for a day about why people dying in Nolan’s films was not ideal but certainly not a major problem. And finally people are not making anything up to fit their narrative, if you have read any of the source material from the last twenty or thirty years, you…
That’s fucked up dude. And also if a character kills, then they technically can’t be Batman by definition, as they fail to meet one of the most important core tenets of the character.
Who is that a picture of?
Yes because a world where a man goes out every night and fights colorful criminals and monsters and somehow doesn’t die, while also teaming up with aliens and cyborgs and gods to fight other aliens and cyborgs and gods is SO realistic. Also killing is a wonderful thing for a HERO to do. He’s supposed to beat the shit…
Yes and pretty much all live action Batmen have been terrible. It’s so depressing that the most comic accurate Batmen we’ve got in live-action have been Clooney and Adam West.
You enjoy reading shitty comics?
Boom!
You put my thoughts into words mate.
Please don’t use proto-Batman as an argument. That isn’t what Batman is supposed to be, and came before DC had figured out what Batman should be. Hence why in modern comics (which includes the last few decades) Batman will say he has never killed, because in the accepted continuity he hasn’t and won’t.
couldn’t have put it better myself
I think people are putting Batfleck up to this ideal, because they are trying to make a DC cinematic universe, so it’s understandable that Batman should be comic accurate. I let Bale slide by because that was supposed to be Batman in real life, and people sometimes accidentally got killed in real life, but that would…
Also one person is still one to many.
Are you nuts? What movie did you watch? Batman brutally murdered exactly 21 people in that stupid movie, and that’s not counting the pointless dream sequence at all. Watch it again, and pay attention, or save yourself the torture and try to forget it ever happened. I wish I could.
Do you not know the definition of innumerable?
I never forgot. I hate Burton’s films as well. Most people just don’t talk about those movies because they’re old and kind of irrelevant. It’s not like we are in any danger of having to wait in dread for a sequel to those movies, because they are already done with.
If I remember correctly, shortly following that Batman says he doesn’t and wouldn’t kill. Kevin Conroy’s Batman never kills, he is the definitive Batman.
Popular films?! what the hell are you talking about?!
He’s the Atom! He’s Superman. He’s in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. He’s from Iowa and a super nice guy. That’s who fucking Brandon Routh is!
