Seems like human nature to put a lot of energy into whining and do fuck all about anything important. Sadly.

I would be so mad at a pizza covered ring. I imagine I would want to pop it on my finger right away but no because pizza? Or sorry there's a spinach leaf clinging to it?
No idea but I hope it's called boysenberry.
"In Chinese presumably" - seriously? Chinese is not a language.
Ugh my SIL mentioned that her and her husband have sex every day and sometimes more and it still kills me inside sometimes if I'm being honest. I thought we were doing ok at 2-3 times per week but after that revelation I swear I felt shitty about our sex life for MONTHS.
Great tip, thanks!
Hands definitely, just make sure they're clean and then wash them again after. Most control.
that is the funniest thing i've read all day
I've got to agree with everyone saying to get that bride friend out of your life. I'm hesitant to suggest telling everyone and their dog about it as it might make you look equally petty. I would personally tell one friend who I know would be guaranteed to mention it to other people so word could get out but you come…
I was thinking the same thoughts. sigh.
I don't know if my thighs could carry off a pastel skinny :S
Thanks for the suggestion! I ordered a few pairs that were 40% off on their website :)
My cats are super freaked out as well! Even my quietest girl is meowing back.
This is actually a pretty good idea. I might steal it.
If your issue is price increases in materials, I think it's a good idea to try to establish a history of adjusting prices up or down. If you have in the past also lowered a price of something due to "material costs" then this might soften the blow as the client has more trust in you.
God I sigh all the time unknowingly. My teachers used to get upset with me because they felt I was giving them attitude or something.
:o that is my new mental image of the 20 mule team factory!!
I was insanely lucky to have the original clients that I did when I started out. I quit my job very unexpectedly and started to freelance on a whim. (It didn't feel like a whim at the time but boy howdy was it ever.) When I was speaking with my potential first clients they asked me what my rates were and I had no idea…
Oh find it in the laundry aisle in any market. It's really cheap. 20 Mule Team is the typical brand. You will pay less than $5 for a 6 month supply.
Cut a lemon in half and dip in it borax.
