Hahah, well my "office" is just our only walk-in closet (my wife is awesome). It's 54" by 54" but fits everything with my custom desk and shelves I built... but I can't imagine only having 4" to spare on either side of my chair!!
I actually do have an LED strip (Dioder from Ikea) behind the monitors and it looks sweet at night. It's just white - I wouldn't really want colors :)
True, but these mobile processors are becoming more and more powerful. Maybe they could launch with one of those quad-core Android phones. I bet the 4S and new iPad could handle it, though.
I don't think Mr. Ive would allow the metal to butt-up against the camera like that. The camera should be the same distance from the top as it is from the metal. For that reason, I think this is fake. I'm hoping they make the back identical to the iPad's - their brushed aluminum (or whatever it is, liquid metal?)…
Funny, I just did this over the weekend for a very late Mother's Day gift. Worked fantastically. If the wood is light enough, you CAN print in color.

I'm almost certain this will be the case. Apple won't screw developers by changing the width, and they'll definitely not take a step back from 326ppi. Simply extending the height of the screen will be a pretty easy change for most developers who stick with the navigation at the top and bottom, with scrollable…
Slick, but can't beat Clear. In my opinion, Clear is kindof the ultimate for a Tasks app - nothing distracts from a simple list of things in a bucket. The more you get into it (tags, priorities, etc) the more time you spend adding the task to the web rather than actually completing the task itself.
"private companies just don't have this material."
Hey Andrew - now that they fixed the problem with the bowl, would you rate it higher? I don't get why it only received 3.5 stars based on the overly positive review...
Mint isn't a bank, it's simply a financial tool used to link to your various accounts. Think of Simple as an actual bank without fees but with a pretty UI.
#corrections the download link text is incorrect - it says "Polaroid Polamatic Download this app for: iPhone, Free" but it should say "Uniqlo Wake Up" Download this app for: iPhone, Free"
I agree

That is true about the original iPhone having a metal back, although the "chin" was plastic, I believe, since the antenna was down at the bottom. Since the antenna was still at the base in the 3G, they made the entire back plastic. Now that the antenna is integrated into the metal frame around the outside of the…
