I very much love how there are two buttons, both of which are pre-order. It’s like taking a 2017 White House survey!

I am super stoked for this. My first hour or so into the DLC (just past the Earthen Peak bonfire) was hellish and beautiful. This is a spooky expansion, and yes, it is hard, which is great. If the bosses are at least as good as Sister Friede, then I will be happy. Sad to see the sun set on the series, but I’m glad to

For some reason, the store sells through Australia. It changes once you put in a US shipping address.

This is just simply not true; if it were, nobody would ever beat Mang0/Armada/Hungrybox. There are tons of upsets in Melee, and people can just have an off day like in... anything competitive.

WASD w/Cherry MX Clears, custom design. I like it a lot! I use it all day, typing up emails and reports about video games, so it has a nice meta-ness to it too.

My coffee mug at work (hoping this image size scales to smaller when I submit...):

It’s definitely not too bad to solo Crota on Normal if you’ve got a good Hunter setup. I did it, and I’m not the greatest Destiny player (granted, I’ve got something like 800 hours, but when it comes to top tier stuff, that’s not me—I’m good enough to beat all the activities with a good group, but not to carry a whole

This is what’s the most striking thing about this game to me. I’ve played for 35 hours and barely made it past the first story checkpoint. Instead, I’ve gone on amazing adventures through mountains, explored deep valleys, stumbled upon a beautiful beach town, right next to a grueling island challenge.

Should be some good talks by the folks at Microsoft Xbox Research this week! Check ‘em out if you can.

Scrolled through, and didn’t see these. They’re a bit lesser-known, but amazing.

The usual Smash Bros. for Wii U, maybe some Pokemon Y or Fire Emblem: Awakening while lounging in bed. Also, I’ve been playing Ninja Gaiden Black again (yay for 360 backwards compatibility!), and boy is that a good game!

Also, I don’t really know much in the way of puzzle games, but Reigns is sort of fantastic for quick stuff you can get more out of than you’d expect!

Poise in DS3 definitely sucks, and it’s my favorite game. It’s so nonsensically useless most of the time that I can’t fathom the change.

Been on a general rotation of a big RPG/Action-RPG (or other recent title that demands a lot of time) and Smash Bros. for Wii U. Perfect compliment IMO.

The main problem with DS2 mechanically is it breaks the promise of Souls combat far too often: Hitboxes aren’t true, and attacks will hit you even if you do everything perfectly.

I occasionally feel like I got gud when I play Soulsborne, having spent hundreds of hours on these games, but I will never git this gud.

Pretty excited to have a console FE game. I’ve been wanting to get into the series, as I love the characters from Smash and the games seem up my alley, I just don’t often play a whole lot of longer games on handhelds nowadays (despite buying a new 3DS just last November...).

I love this article. It really does emphasize how Nintendo is by far the best at gaming for everyone. Their gaming design language is the pinnacle of intuitive. Sometimes, they push too hard (much of the Wii era) on explaining everything to everyone, but when they really let their design speak for the experience, it’s

WEH no Dark Souls III. As I make my way through Bloodborne, I think that III might be the best in the franchise (though it’s hard to separate DS1 from the feeling of “My First Souls Game”, and it just had some of the most brilliant level design in games... until you hit Demon Ruins).

I’m hoping to be all-in on Final Fantasy XV. I’m a few hours in (just fed the cat! I’ve been doing a lot of sidequests), but it hasn’t gotten its hooks into me in that way I love a good JRPG to do. But I feel like it will get to that point, and I’m excited for that. It’s the first JRPG/Final Fantasy I’ve been this
