I kinda didn’t realize until just now that I miss director’s commentaries.
I think they were just pointing out the irony that she’s an immigrant while he's telling others to go back where they came from.
They don’t care who’s toes they step on!
That wasn’t terrible. But it would have help if it seemed like anyone actually knew the tune they were supposed to be singing.
I thought for sure Biden was gonna collapse after delivering that line, you know, to poke fun at how old they both are... but no.
Again, I totally agree. But again, I think that ship sailed. Spider-Man has appeared in the MCU five times and they haven’t mentioned Uncle Ben once. It would almost be weird to bring him up now. But Disney still could, and I hope they do. That’s a small problem compared to the problems moving Spidey to Sony creates …
As a purist, I agree. I’d rather have Uncle Ben. But that ship sailed. Ben’s never been introduced in this version and it’s not like Sony is going to introduce him now either. So I’d rather we just move forward from this point. With Spider-Man in the MCU rather than the bullshit ‘Venom Verse’, which is barely even a…
Pretry sure that was taken care of in the last movie.
I saw Jupiter Ascending in the theater. It was extremely boring.
That last movie was obviously his farewell.
No, maybe YOU chill out! MAYBE YOU CHILL OUT!!!
Does this mean we’ll finally learn the mystery of what happened to Spider-Man’s parents?
I begged yous not to see Venom in the theater. Begged yous.
They nailed the origin in the first movie. And I love DeFoe’s mirror scene.
I think you’re forgetting The Emoji Movie or Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.
Oh I’m so glad Disney lost and I can go back to watching shit spider-man movies again oh happy day.
I’ve been thinking about that. Maybe it’s because it’s one thing to mess with Hitler’s legacy, fuck him, but what’s the point in pretending Sharon Tate had a happy ending? The other movies fought against evil institutions like slavery and the holocaust. This is plays Sharon Tates murderers first as a joke, then as an…
“Everybody knows Sharon Tate was brutally murdered by Manson Family cult members. What our movie presupposes is... maybe she didn’t?”
True but at least Django set up that ending in the body of the film. ONCE just lazily relies on us knowing what happened in real life and to bring that to the theater with us. The movie does nothing to show us that these people are getting what they deserve.
Nah, Jackie Brown has an ingenious, clockwork plot. Nothing like that here.
