Yeah, it seemed like they needed an excuse to get everyone back - and they came up with two. A documentary follow-up and a wedding. So they used both.

And remember how upset everyone was when they discovered just how much they were spied on? I kinda thought they were going somewhere with that.
Yeah. It's a lazy way to get info across. Spinal Tap- it made sense. But why are we documenting this guy? There's nothing noteworthy about him. He hasn't even decided to research his family tree yet. Why were you following him to begin with?
I thought they could have had more fun with the Scott cameo as well. Like, maybe on the panel show "…And last but not least, a man who needs no introduction, the rumors are true, he's here! Let's hear it for everyone's fan-favorite Dunder Mifflin manager!"
Yeah, that was odd. You'd figure the bulk of the documentary was about Micheal Scott. So it's odd people were cheering for Andy - especially since he would have come toward the end of the documentary. In fact, when the fans saw him and started cheering something - I didn't even recognize that was supposed to be some…
Yeah, but at least Ryan intentionally gave the baby an allergic reaction.
Kinda odd to sell Jim's childhood home without telling him and that's played as a really loving thing to do.
Yeah, I saw the Onion article. I would have avoided it. But it announced Carrell's return in the HEADLINE.
Little odd PBS (or the fans) wouldn't have wanted Micheal in on the panel discussion, considering he was the soul of the documentary for the majority of it's run. They didn't even try to explain his absence. Which, I guess they couldn't, since he shows up at the wedding like a scene later. So he obviously wasn't too…
Remember the end of the BBC series? David Brent was pissed he came off looking so bad on TV? He was heckled on the street with names like "Absolutely Flabulous?"
I dunno. The finale felt like a lot of the later-series episodes. Lights on laughs and heavy on schmaltz. The series started off so edgey and uncomfortable, yet somehow culminated with the whole whole cast singing "Seasons of Love" to Micheal before he left. Just douche-chilling.
Anyone else find it jarring when this turned into a mockumentary - about halfway through - for no apparent reason?
I was a big fan of the corner and as such, I was excited for The Wire. I don't know, after the Corner, the Wire just didn't seem as good. Couldn't get into it. Been meaning to try it again…
I missed last week too. My It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia spec script "The Gang Catches Predators" placed in the Scriptapalooza quarterfinals and that kinda distracted me.
Why is it always Jim who has to prove his love to Pam? He let her go to New York to pursue her dumb pipe dream of art school for who knows how long and she won't let him pursue his very real and lucrative dream of selling his sports company for a mere three months.
I don't know they've ever explored the characters enough. Didn't- just once- you'd think we'd get a look at where and how Creed lives?
Meh, Dwight getting the manager job would have had more impact if it hadn't happened already. He painted the office black, as I recall. Andy was his #2. It was funnier the first time.
Great. There goes my only reason to ever read. See you in hell, words!
Wait. You're leaving?! What the hell, bro? What a down ending! What about the Day the Clown Cried? Aw, man. This sucks.
He doesn't have a towel so "I'll just let the sun dry me out. It's better for you anyway."
Thanks, 70's scientists!
