I thought the best meta job the Simpsons ever did was in this ep. Homer shows us all the money he made in a Storage Wars moment. Then, a different angle reveals, Homer is showing the money to a camera that doesn't exist and looks insane doing it. Brilliant. 

David Brent tried to seduce his new secretary hire in one episode. Took her out to a bar and everything.

Fun fact: The pilot episode of (U.S.) The Office had the subtitle: An American Workplace. They cut that before they aired it.
