I am one of those DACA recipients. I learned of my status attempting to finish the school drivers ed course in high school. I then used the excuse that I no longer had a ride to finish...I arrived when I was 5 years old.

Not sure on your background, most of the Latin community that I’ve been involved with sticks together being complete strangers.
Oddly enough there only seem to be certain nationalities that are outside of that norm.

Can confirm:
Cubans as a stereotype look down on other immigrants of Latin decent. They qualify themselves as higher and almost always vote Republican. Its a cycle of climbing the wall (immigration laws and luck) and knocking over the ladder to anyone climbing up.
