Dalkes bore me. There, I said it.

I’d like to see River come back. There, I said that too.

I know, I’m a bad fan.

Wasn’t there another Nu-Who episode that had a Dalek say the word “mercy?”

A Dalek has said “mercy” before. In “The Big Bang,” the series 5 finale: a Dalek begged River Song not to kill it, to show it mercy.

Definitely think you’re being too hard on this one. The thing with Clara trapped in the Dalek being unable to say her own name was really neat, and felt pretty believable in the situation — it was set up pretty well, considering. Also, the TARDIS having a “hostile action displacement system” was established long ago,

It probably would have been impossible to find otherwise, is my guess. Hell, it’s sort of hard to find now, even though we know that it exists!

In before the Moffat haters. They’ll complain about this because the BBC America is doing something cool for fans for Moffat’s Who.

I learned my lesson. Do the same. Stay out of my corner, I’ll stay out of yours, and it’ll all be good.

No. He’s going to shoot the hands duh. You have been calling the first scene with the kid irrelevant filler, I think perhaps you have never seen doctor who before. Make us like a character (soldier guy) and wonder if he will be more significant, kill him and emphasize the awfulness of war, introduce the actually

Starred for the word “vociferous” instead of “tiresome ranting fanboy who should have stopped watching a long time ago the same way I did with the Marvel movies” that I would have used.

Yeah but you invaded my thread to complain more. You don’t see me invading yours and others’ threads to call out the chronic whininess.

I think he uses him just fine, but that’s just me. Where can I watch In the thick of it? I live in the states, so I haven’t actually seen that show. Is it able to be streamed or do I have to hunt down DVDs? (Just curious, you don’t need to answer if you don’t want to.) (and one thing I am going to read soon is Craig

Yeah! You just know that the vociferous complainers are going to be at the top of the comments, and the enjoyers are going to spend paragraphs trying to convince them otherwise.

After the last time Davros showed up they haven’t even pretended that the Daleks were all dead.

Doctor Who is not hard sci-fi. I do not know why people want that from this show. Dude eats fish fingers and custard, and says he eeds a cuppa to help shake off regenerations. And wears a goddamned celery stalk.

Remember, you already made up your mind before you even watched the episode.

Yeah, I friggin’ loved this episode and I’m so happy since I was meh on most of series 8.

Just no. That was the best season opener since Matt Smith’s first episode.

The past nine months have dragged so frigging much. But here we are, all reunited again! The haters hating, the lovers loving...Noodles, how I missed this.

That’s the Master, homie.

God I’m so happy that she’s back.
