I have read TKAMB at least a dozen times—a number of times during my own education (throughout middle school, high school, and college), and then a number of times during my brief career teaching 8th grade language arts. Varys and Littlefinger are both much grayer in the books. It seems they chosen to make Varys the “good guy” and Littlefinger the “bad guy” in the show. I’m really curious how SPOILER

People shat all over the production photos from the last movie too. Fox seems to be much better at making these movies than marketing them, so don’t sweat it too much.

I find it funny how the X-Men evolved from trying to have practical and “realistic” costumes to the zany impractical outfits straight out of the comics. I mean, after the first few X-Men films, I never thought they’d actually have a near comic accurate costume for Psylocke.

The ending to The Name of the Doctor was the biggest WTF moment with the first appearance of the War Doctor (aka The Renegade).

Orgazmo is a great film! I could have put Man of Steel in the low 30s rather than high 30s, I admit... was pretty sure it belonged in the 30s, though. It’s got some serious flaws even though I like it a lot.

Ok there is big difference between sexy and sleazy, and this isn’t sexy it’s sleazy and embarrassing for everyone involved.

I can confirm that Kratos is a complete monster in every single game, and I feel deeply uncomfortable controlling him as he murders innocent people pleading for their lives.

Yeah, I’ve stopped feeling anything when I kill people anymore. These days, I have to do something sexual to make it fun again.

I barely made it past the first boss in GoW 1. Going into the game I thought the story was kratos was accused of killing the God of war (maybe he did?) but either way the gods are assholes and he’s gonna punch, kick and stab his way to prove his innocence. Or something along those lines. I kill the hydra and I think…

I didn’t like killing the mostly nude girl (I think she was Posiden’s slave girl or princess?) with a gear. Then being encouraged to eyeball her mangled remains for a trophy. It wouldn’t have felt so shitty if she wasn’t ridiculously sexualized while you were doing it. That disgusted me quite a bit, and I wasn’t happy…

I’ve felt this once: Spec Ops the line. Little known game underrated gem. There is a certain moment where you must do something to save yourself and progress. You will know if you have played it.

Please, Devil May Cry is an amazing series compared to this. Though I don’t think God of War is a ripoff of it either, it’s simply another game in the genre.

This post is largely what I don’t like about God of War because Kratos is not an interesting character, his story arc is not copelling, and hes not even a good anti hero or villian, hes the embodiment of internet rage in gaming form and in the end nothing in this series is ever really interesting its just brutality…
