Yeah, except your perception of a nuclear war is far from what will actually happen. A reactor leak is FAR worse than a bomb because it leaks slowly instead of dispersing quickly with the detonation. A detonation would disperse in decades, with an abandoned reactor it can continue to leak for centuries

Why are people so stupid they keep equating Chernobyl with a Nuclear detonation? It's the same amount of energy, but Chernobyl is bleeding over time and is not typical of a nuclear event, that is why it is so notable. With a nuclear detonation the energy is released in seconds and disperses over decades.
