Anyone who buys a car without first driving it, deserves to be fleeced.

I should have taken pics of them. The leopard prints on the SL absolutely ruined that car.

I lived in Newport Beach for a while about 10 blocks from his house. Every single one of his cars at the time had some sort of flames painted on them. He had a lifted F-250 or 350, a bug, and a 600 SL - the 600 SL had leopard print flames on it - yes, I said leopard print flames on it.

Mitsubishi Evo called and wants its front back.

So is the red one the Chevelle and the silver the Chicane? The red one looks a little awkaward. The silver looks like an Eclipse from the front and looks like it stole the Caddy CTS coupes rear-end. The silver one could be a hit if it has the performance to backup the looks at the right price-point. Is the silver

Funny article. Was going to agree with you Jason until I realized that an anthropomorphized version of my C5 Corvette (or any car with "pop-up" headlights) would be blind during the day.

At least I can afford a Volt. How much did Fisker and Tesla get for cars most people cannot afford?

This is worse evidence than him being a "professional driver". Jalopnik, love your site but please leave the conspiracy theories to the tabloids.

Funny though that the whole point of a contest like this is to give Joe Schmo a chance to own an exotic car. If the

I think insinuating that a "professional driver" of a Frito Lay truck being able to handle a Lambo is a bit of a stretch.

Oh......make sense now.

A 65 foot wave? That's got to be a typo.

Would be a much better choice then a bloated performance SUV. Could get some high quality blow and hookers, and still have plenty of spare change for a real performance car.

I can think of many other smarter ways to invest $250k.

Money cannot buy taste.

I have the same reaction to these. Especially around the 3:18 mark.

They already do. That info can be pulled from systems like OnStar. Thought I had read about a debate between an insurance carrier and a customer as to whether that evidence is admissable in processing a claim. I think alot of modern cars have systems that reocrd this as well - pretty sure I have heard this discussed

Amen, brother. Granted like you, I'm an enthusiast - I get in my Vette and I am in my happy little zen place...lol. I want nothing more to do than enjoy the driving experience. My phone stays in my pocket or the center console. Unfortunately we are probably the minority. Part of it may be that cars are like

I agree with some of your points and I'm all about less govt control. But most people on the road are not good drivers to begin with and don't need to be further handicapped. From everything I have read it has more to do with a lack of concentration that necessarily taking your eyes off the road, though that too is

Arun has a sweet set up.
