Jeep Wrangler - that was mine. And for the record I now have the author-referenced mid-life crisis car, but no combover or Viagra.......yet........
Now if only they enforce the law.... They don't enforce it or hand held talking and drving anywhere.
Did NYC pay the $7,500 in damage?
Good call. My first instinct was the LS-7, but the 5.5L ALMS C6R engine is a good candidate too.
If SS = LS-3, and ZL1 = LS-A, wouldn't Z28 = LS-7. I imagine a Z28 would be the Camaro version of the Z06 Carbon (Z07 option): naturally aspirated LS-7, weight reducing carbon fiber hood and roof; maybe either the Z51 (now Grands Sport) or magnetic selective ride control suspension; bigger Brembos (not sure if they…
@Chilli: I agree. I would draw a picture of the dollar bills and tell them I ran out of money but this is still "official" legal tender.
@fryhole: I agree on both accounts. My bad for the assumption - guess the atypical YouTube videos have left me jaded. lol
@fryhole: I did see that. It looks liek it was a mess just walking up the hill. And yes, possible the camera man didn't think he could get up there. I just see so many videos posted where the camera man should be intervening rather than recording.
@Maxx Cracker — sponsored by Peniston Oils: I'd be at the top of the hill warning people, not the asshat behind the camera.. I don't need more people potentially hitting my car if I was already down the hill.
Love how there is always someone availble to video several minutes of cars crashing due to conditions like this but never someone with the forethought to go to the top of the hill to waive people off from conitnuing down the hill preventing further crashes or someone getting injured. I guess its more important to be…
@dmcshinobi: Must be. Every Vette review I have read has always been quite the opposite.
@dmcshinobi: Thanks - didn't see the emblems on the fenders so I thought it was a GS. Normally every review is quite the opposite. Rough around the edges and less refined. With the bang-for-the-buck,brute force a Vette delivers, castrated is just about the last thing I'd expect.
@alexander_the_car_salamander: I agree, but I think fixed lights became standard due to European pedestrian crash stnadards or soemthing like that. They also wanted the Vette to have more European appeal.
@∞Gïmmï∞Mørgäikkøŋëŋ∞: According to Lutz, if GM didn't go bankrupt a mid-engine for the C7 was considered.
Castrated? That may be the first and possibly the last time I ever hear a Vette described that way. Thought she would complain about the cheap interior and seats. Was that a GS? Didn't look like a Z.
@Bueller: Good point. Hadn't thought of that.
Nice article, Justin. What a moron - Lets "be green" and build electric vehicles that due to a lack of supporting infrastructure will only be able to be charged at home, which on the east coast is done by burning fossil fuels. Somebody smack that guy.
@Octomac: I have a Vette and go to the occasional Vette gathering. That person does exist. They have a caniption when I tell them I drive mine in the rain...good God whats wrong with me...but as always you can't let the minority of asshats of any group define the entire group. I don't think that every STi or Evo is…
