We had the Spin bikes on our campus for about half a semester, and they were made free. Needless to say it became a game to see how far on the map you could get a bike, or the most ridiculous place you could put one. That is how one ended up on the roofs of 4-5 of the buildings on campus

I am OK with this. Why not rely on people who can get stuff done rather than a bureaucracy who may eventually get to it. How is getting rid of government interference a bad thing?

He’s been in a race car before, with some even bigger racing royalty

If FE was serious, they would run the cars on all the classic F1 tracks, blitz the old lap records in utter silence, and wow the crap out of everyone. And before people act like this cannot happen, the current fastest accelerating car is an electric FSAE car, something designed to do fast laps for 22km in around 20

Current cars, depending on the series, are now massive. F1 cars are the same size as a Ford F150 (let that sink in). Frankly, FE is really only a test bed for manufacturers to get testing data and brownie points on Instagram.

Indycar does not have any of the gimmicks and viewership is slowly rising. I would like to argue that good racing and good cars still sell (barring Indy’s double points).

Daniel had the best move of the day...until Sebastian Bourdais said “hold my beer and watch this” at Long Beach

I’m just pushing Sharpe at this point

Not sure Nixon really offers anything more, gotta go with Larry Sharpe :)

God I hope he finds a way to crash it. A mediocre car crashed by a crappy politician

Why do all of them look like they have tacky, 1970's rubber bumpers tacked on to the front. And why are all of the trucks gigantic

If that thing comes here. They have to put the sideways door handles on. Otherwise it’s not my xterra

True. Blaney’s last move was more of a matter of airflow. If you go back and see the others, there could have been more patience to use.

The Dillon move I accept. Its not a great move, but its last lap and Almirola did make a bit of a move. Would Dale have made that move? It has to be put in context. At Daytona and Talledega, Dale would have had an ass (excuse the language) whoopin so big for him that he wouldn’t be able to sit for Atlanta next week.

If you want to see his humanity. Listen to the dinner with Racers podcast. He was a ringleader so removed from the victims he has no idea of the pain caused at the level people think he should. He firmly believed he was helping people with his business when in reality the people under him we’re transforming his idea

Similar problem in NY. There are no places to go off roading without going places you should not be in. And everything ends up trashed. Versus Pa where there are plenty of trails and they are cared for. Let the people who know what they’re doing do their thing.

You calling my car a liar? 😂

Pointed that out on the Reddit forum. If that’s where they are going with the X, IDK. That front is awful

It is Champcar now, but your point still lies true. FE is not a racing series as much of a Engineering development exercise these days.

They should come back to Indycar now
